Missing the "C" in Chase-Durer on the dial.

A collectors' dream
Factory errors on trains (ie Lionel for example) deserve a premium and are quite desiralbe.
I'm not sure if the same goes for watches though. That may drivesome people crazy while
others would love to have it.Your choice.

The 'C' is probably floating around in the watch. I would send it back and have Marianne
replace the dial and make sure it's cleaned. I would think the watch would be worth less if
the dial is in this condition.

I had the same issue with another watch brand and thought I would get used to it but ended
up sending it in for the extra letter. It doesn't add any value to the watch, not like a coin
with an abberation. In the long run you just end up focusing in on the missing letter. Good
luck with the watch whatever you decide to do.
