Established in 1997, Charterpoint Ltd have grown to become one of the major international suppliers of IT hardware. Located in Manchester, England, our product range encapsulates all key manufacturers for computer parts, spares, options, machines, printers, servers and EPOS equipment.

For almost 15 years Charterpoint Ltd have served the market, showing significant growth year on year and providing worldwide IT solutions. Whether you need a new power supply for your laptop, a new complete server for your business or a set of EPOS touchscreen terminals for your shop...whatever you need, Charterpoint can help. Background Charterpoint Ltd were founded in 1997 with our head office in Altrincham, Cheshire. From just a handful of employees we sought contracts with some of the major players in the market throughout Europe, leading towards our company expansion and development of a specialised sales team, plus experienced warehouse and logistics staff.

Our development in business and resultant personnel meant our premises were not large enough to accommodate the Charterpoint team or our stocking levels, so in September 2005 we moved to a much larger facility in Wythenshawe, Manchester, providing a quality home to serve our customer requirements. Located just off the M6 and within five miles of Manchester International Airport, Spectrum House is just perfect for fulfilling the needs of ourselves and our customers... both in the UK and internationally. Since the move we have developed in company size and industry experience. As word of Charterpoint has spread, global interest has improved and we now serve the market with distinction anywhere in the world.

How we work In keeping with our ethos of customer care, we provide a personalised Account Manager for every customer. This way you always have an individualised service representative to handle all your enquiries no matter how large or small. Whatever your problem, we’re always on hand to help.


Part availability We stock well! Whilst we feel our stocking levels are always high, we carefully analyse the market to identify exactly what our customers need, ensuring we are always well positioned to satisfy demand. Quality All parts are tested to ISO 9001 Quality Standards, providing us with the confidence to offer a MINIMUM ONE-YEAR warranty on almost everything we supply. Our delivery times and packaging of parts is the best in the business and you can even keep track of your delivery online 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

If we let you down you won’t come back. We expect nothing less. That’s why Charterpoint have worked hard at developing an experienced, structured operations team to eradicate errors and drive forward a consistent improvement in service.

The relocation to Spectrum House and the additional space which came with it gave us a great opportunity to build a more structured operations unit for our current and future customers. We invested in R&D to define the correct solution for Charterpoint and found the winning formula for providing a deliverable service model which supports customer requirements. Engineering The addition of a state-of-the-art engineering complex and some new, qualified recruits provided the ability to test every part which comes through the door to full ISO 9001 Quality Standards. This dramatically reduced our product failure rate, instantly making us a more attractive proposition for customers. To ensure our team stays up to date with all the latest technology and products we invest in industry-standard training to ensure we are always able to assist, whatever the product.

Logistics By investing in experienced personnel we improved our logistics teams efficiency and communication levels. We’ve also developed first-class business relationships with our couriers to offer greater productivity and further improve our on-time delivery rate. Warehouse Spectrum House also offers an upgrade in quality and space of our warehouse unit, guaranteeing greater stocking availability. We explored how we could improve our distribution speed and with the investment in modern technology we now resource a smoother approach to on-time delivery. We’ve also upgraded our packaging to the best available to ensure the safe arrival of your parts. Goods damaged in transit is one thing which is slightly out of our hands, so we do everything we can with packaging to guarantee there are no problems on arrival. One team. One focus.
