ANNO DOMINI DESIGNS Anno Domini (An-no Dom-in-eye) is Latin meaning “In the Year of Our Lord”. The fashion design team Emily Kramer and Amanda Gaskins were inspired to create a fair-trade focused eco-friendly design house in 2008. Both have a background in fashion design and costuming – stage production, renaissance and reenactments, weddings, and formal attire. Since then, their efforts brought them from Chicago runways to Charlotte Seen Fashion Week 2011 where

they won the People’s Choice Award for Best Emerging Designer.*

KIM PIXTON Kimberly Pixton Millar has always been creative and comes from a long line of artists. Her work has been seen on competitive gymnastic leotards, pageant gowns, NFL cheerleader uniforms and stages across the Carolinas, where she has been nominated for numerous awards for costume design. Pixton Design began when she was looking for a wedding gown and could not find anything that suited her taste, so she designed her own. This led to commissions for wedding gowns from friends and acquaintances and thus, Pixton Design was born.*

LINEAGE BRIDAL Duff-Cole launched Charlotte-based Lineage Bridal and wedding gown listing service LineageBridal.com, providing customized services and protecting budget-minded brides and women who wish to safely sell their wedding dresses. “I wanted to offer women a trusted online venue to showcase their treasured wedding gowns and work one-on-one with brides-to-be, helping each find her ‘perfect’ gown – at a

price that didn’t leave her dipping into the honeymoon fund,” said Duff-Cole. To-day, Duff-Cole and business partner, Jodene Pooler, facilitate each Lineage Bridal gown sale personally – protecting the privacy of gown buyers and sellers as each party works directly with Lineage Bridal. “We sincerely enjoy the relationship we build with each bride, and providing them with that special attention and a personal touch is part of what defines us, “said Pooler. *

J. MAJOR’S COUTURE BRIDAL J. Major’s is located in the historic Dilworth neighborhood, just minutes from uptown Char-lotte. We are home to more than 15 of today’s top bridal designers, as well as collections for bridesmaids, flowergirls, mothers, and special occasion. We also carry an extensive selection of accessories such as shoes, jewelry, veils and headpieces. Working closely with our renowned designers and in-house seam-stress, each gown is customized to most perfectly reflect the bride’s vision for her wedding day. We are extremely proud of the work we do, and it is our hope that this is reflected in your experience as a J. Major’s bride.

TAYLOR, RICHARDS & CONGER Every item you'll see here has been selected by the most demanding clothing critics we know. Us. If it doesn't meet a lofty level of style, functionality and quality, you won't find it here. And, yes, quality often translates to a higher price point, but our products are not always the most expensive, just the finest available at that price. Our excep-tional staff will help you find the perfect garments to fit your

body type and your lifestyle. We'll also happily come to you, swatches in hand… whenever, wherever. Please contact us today. You (and your closet) will be glad you did.

LUIS MACHIÇAO Luis Machiçao grew up with one thing on his mind… FASHION; however, it wasn’t until the age of 20 that he actively began to pursue his dream. Mr. Machiçao began his career in Peru by enroll-ing in The School of Dramatic Arts where he received his education, later he decided to move to another school and began studying Fash-ion Design in a local Fashion Institute where he graduated with honors. Afterwards he enrolled in the University to study Sociology, he is on the belief that fashion is a social manifestation of the human being. After 4 years at the university he flew to Paris where he knew he could complete his education with experience. It was while in Paris that everything came together on how to dress people from head to toe in good taste.*

ERIN BOHANON My name is Erin Bohanon, the creative force be-hind RCB Fashion. I’m a professionally trained seamstress, hold-ing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing. RCB Fashion was created in late 2007 when I decided to leave my job and start working for myself full time as a contract seamstress. Throughout my years of sewing, I have worked for many compa-nies both large and small, and in all different categories of sew-

ing. I will be happy to work with you on your project to create that “one of a kind” garment; please email any inquiries to me. I look forward to working with you. “If you can dream it, I can make it come to life.”

ERIN GREY As the owner of J. Major’s Bridal Boutique, I have had the luxury of working with brides for over 8 years. From the very beginning, I’ve loved creating and custom-designing accessories and gowns for very discerning brides and their wedding parties. Each person is unique in their desires, looks and visions and I wanted to help bring their dreams to reality. *

KSH COUTURE KSH Couture specializes in designing couture apparel for women. Each trend-setting piece is thoughtfully crafted and guar-anteed to be a timeless addition to every fashion lover’s wardrobe.

DW DESIGNS When you meet DW Designer David Washington, there is nothing shy of a profound statement being made. His sophisticated swaggering style is not easily forgotten. Since childhood, Mr. Washing-ton has understood the attraction that happens when a person com-bines individual style with guided fashion. His philosophy, “custom clothing, is more than fashion, it’s about distinguishing yourself, setting yourself apart, standing out with confidence…on purpose!” *

RACHEL GORDON One Love by Rachel Gordon is a line of excep-tional hand made couture wedding gowns. Each design is truly one of a kind and she is known for incorporating family heir-loom laces and accessories into each creation. Gordon has been

designing bohemian, chic, ethereal inspired gowns for years, but only recently launched her 1st bridal collection at Charleston Fashion Week. With the launch of her first collection she gained both notoriety and new fans. Rachel is also the owner of ONE boutique, located at 478 King Street, where she carries her bridal line alongside other local designers and artists.

S EGAN WALLACE Egan Wallace is comprised of Samantha Shanks and Zachary Sauer, both

recent graduates of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Producing a collabora-tive senior thesis, the duo found a creative kinship and conceived a fledgling brand. Egan Wallace is defined by a quirky sense of aesthetic and an ultra contemporary appeal. Since producing their first collection, Egan Wallace has been mentioned by Elle, spotlighted by several independent magazines and soon to be featured in an upcoming issue of a major national publication.*

CAROLINE HARMON My mission is to empower women to embrace themselves and turn their wardrobe into something that inspires them and makes them feel great! Thanks for stopping by, and don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions or com-ments! I’d LOVE to hear from you!*

ROBERT CRAIG Robert’s love for design began at the early age of 15 with his first design being made of cotton fabric and the Sun-day comic portion of the newspaper. Shortly after graduating high school, he attended Livingstone College and Norfolk state university where he majored in business and design. He currently attends the Paul Mitchell School of Charlotte where has been afforded the opportunity to display his creative ability as a mem-ber of the design team. *

CAROL ANN COPELAND From a very early age, Carol was styling herself, her family and her friends. Fashion, styling and designing were always her true passions, and she had the opportunity to showcase her first collection in Fall 2011. from that point for-ward she was hooked! She is ecstatic to be involved in the 2012 Charlotte Seen Fashion Week and hopes to continue to expand her collections so that every woman can enjoy the experience of a Slice Couture original. *

KEVIN VAIN Kevin Vain’s career began when he started to dye his own t-shirts from Wal-Mart and add different ac-cents and trimmings to them. The public liked what he was doing so he decided to take things to the next level. The clothing line KevinVain all began in winter of 2010 when he put legos on a jean vest. He soon began to customize and re-

modify things of his own and wear them to school and around in public. It was only a matter of time before the right people discovered his talent and helped it blossom into what it is today.*

CIGI GUZMAN Cigi landed her first design job creating world tour merchandise for Jason Mraz while still only a student studying Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Charlotte. She has continued to remain at the forefront of art and design in the city, spearheading events such as The Public Photoshoot Project. Recently, Cigi developed and successfully launched a "speakeasy boutique" hidden in the back of a local Charlotte thrift store. Her retail store, THE SPEAK-EASY BOUTIQUE is scheduled to make its grand debut early Fall 2012. *

SARA EGRI I have discovered what I’m truly passionate about which is the art of beautifying a human being. Born in California and raised in Guatemala, I moved back to NJ when I was 16 years old. After marriage, I moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue my career as a Stylist/MUA. I look forward to unveiling what the future has in store for me; to see new places, meet new faces, learn new things, and develop my talent.

KATY ALBRIGHT For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a pas-sion for makeup, hair, and fashion. I’m currently working at Modern Salon & Spa as well as being a freelance make-up artist. I am so blessed to have been able to be exposed to this industry and I hope my dreams can one day become my reality.

MAKE ME BY JOYA In 2007, Ms. Courtney began freelancing under the name Make Me by Joya; resulting in an increased, diversified client base. Since then, she has done everything from weddings and runway to photo shoots, music videos, and editorial. Freelancing allows her to maintain creative integrity while developing her skills. She views every face a blank canvas where possibilities for greatness are endless.

ROUGE - A MAKEUP STUDIO Rouge is a full service makeup Studio located in the Rama Rd. & Monroe Rd. area of Charlotte, NC. Us-ing high quality products such as MAC, HIP, Mary Kay, Bobbi Brown and Iman she can achieve “The Dramatic Experience”, “The Natural Glow” or whatever her clients desire for their special occasion.

SHEAR EXCELLENCE We at Shear Excellence strive to become one of the top Men's Salons in Charlotte. We are conveniently located right outside of downtown in the heart of Dilworth at the Latta Pavilion shopping center. We are not your average run of the mill barbershop. Be sure to enjoy a complimentary beer and sports during your haircut experience.

REED MY LIPSTICK I was born in the late 80's (although I wish I had grown up in the 80's or the 50's either one would have been awesome). Growing up I always had a passion for beauty. I would spend hours at my dads salon (and especially when he would take me to weddings) just fascinated by makeup and glamour. While most kids were out playing kick ball in the cul-de-sac I was in my room listening to Spice Girls, Celine Dion or Britney Spears trying to re-create their looks with my mom’s make-up bag.

PAUL MITCHELL Every Paul Mitchell beauty school is de-signed to teach you the skills you’ll need, inspire you to explore your passion and creativity, and help you learn the business that will make your career in the beauty industry fun and rewarding. Everyone on staff at each beauty school is committed to helping you every step of the way, no matter where your dreams may take you. Paul Mitchell–trained hair designers work in virtually every corner of the world, and every beauty professional knows the Paul Mitchell name. Prospective employers recognize Paul Mitchell Schools’ commitment to quality, as well as our reputation for innovation and excellence.

JE'TAIME HAIR AND MAKE UP ARTISTRY My name is Dustin Knoblauch and my life is beauty and Iwouldn't have it any other way! I run a freelance artistry company named Je Taime Artistry specializing in editorial hair styles and modern progressive makeup. I have been a cosmetologist doing hair for five years now, and makeup for 3. I love all aspects of beauty artistry, whether it be taking clean structured hard lines to make, a bold high fashion statement, or soft curvatures for everyday glam. I am simply happy in enhancing the natural beauty already pre-sent. That being said I am very excited to be part of CSFW2012!!!!

Mr. Machiçao began his career in Peru by enrolling in The School of Dramatic Arts where he received his education, later he decided to move to another school and began studying Fashion Design in a local Fashion Institute where he graduated with honors. Afterwards he enrolled in the University to study Sociology, his

belief is that fashion is a social manifestation of the human being. After 4 years at the university he flew to Paris where he knew he could complete his education with experience. It was while in Paris that everything came together on how to dress people from head to toe in good taste.*

Berhan was born in the US but traveled much throughout her childhood between the United States and Europe before ground-ing herself by studying ballet at Ankara State Conser-vatory in Turkey. Once in Charlotte, she started mak-ing a name for herself by teaching multiple styles of dance at Spirit Square and performing as part of Theatre Charlotte in some of their musical productions.
