impact on the product via the distinctively designed rotor and stator.The high tolerance clearance between them is regulated by an externally calibrated

adjustment device assuring a consistent mill setting throughout the product run.All process materials are fed between the Charlotte Colloid Mill’s unique stator and rotor

assembly revolving at 3600 rpm, resulting in the processed material being dispersed, suspended, emulsified, homogenized or comminuted with the finest results.

high performance construction materials.The Charlotte “G” series is available with type 316 stainless steel or hardened steel

working components in the product area. The SD Models (Sanitary Design) are designed to handle food and other personal products under the strictest sanitary conditions via complete Type 316 stainless steel construction throughout the product area, equipped with sanitary fittings of industry standard ACME threaded or Triclampconnections and a special rotary shaft seal.

All non-stainless components are specially treated for maximum corrosion resistance.All models are isolation jacketed for cooling or heating, and provide continuous high

production through a closed system from pre-mixing to packaging. The internal pumping action of the Charlotte Mill will handle gravity-fed material and often eliminates the need for an auxiliary pump.

Model G 125 rugged heavy production series (motor optional). Product chamber is easily

accessed by the removal of 3 components. The Mechanical shaft seal is designed for maximum

performance and minimum down time.

The Charlotte Colloid Mill provides many years of clean trouble-free operation. Advanced system design and construction furnishes a self cleaning action through normal use. Simply flushing with water or an appropriate solvent is standard procedure, resulting in minimal clean-up time and maintenance costs. Periodic thorough cleaning and inspection of the entire milling chamber is easily accomplished.

The Charlotte “SD” Series features accessible inside corners for thorough cleanliness. The entire head machined from Type 316 stainless steel, is completely separate and removable. In most cases it is only necessary to flush the mill with warm water and detergent for assured guaranteed cleanliness. For ease of inspection, only the cover plate, rotor, nut, key, and seal need be removed.

The intelligent construction of all Charlotte Colloid Mills require only normal care and attention for years of worry-free operation. The shaft and drive mechanism is rugged, durable and operates virtually maintenance free.
