Position: Warehouse Manager
Responsible for all related duties to managing and prioritizing warehouse related work. Looking after the shipping, receiving and maintenance schedules for the company vehicles and also responsible for negotiating the rates with transport companies that are used for deliveries to the different store divisions of the company.
- Managing a staff of 15 to 25 people depending on the season.

- Responsible for receiving and distribution of the merchandise to the company stores, making sure that whatever was shipped, was done at the most cost efficient manner.

The company was just starting to get computerized. I was responsible for costing the acrylic and the store construction division. I created templates cutting down the time to get a cost from 2 hours to 15 minutes. Responsible for the Costing of all products and the Inventory of an exclusive program developed for the major customer of the company, based on commitments made at the beginning of the year. Responsibilities are also Production, implementing procedures of quality control and coordinating with sales to make sure production orders got into the factory and delivery dates were respected. looking after house account inside sales and servicing

Responsibilities
1987 - 1998 Under the supervision of the Vice President of the fashion jewelry department, my responsibilities as the Inventory Analyst were to ensure that stock levels were adequate to meet the turnaround time required to ship an order.
The inventory consisted of 20,000 S.K.U.’s, valued at $ 7 Million retail.
In agreement with the customer, Min./Max. inventory levels were established, and I performed a weekly analysis of the groups of S.K.U.’s sold.
Raw material inventory levels were established with the V.P. for the fashion jewelry department and our sales manager , and purchases were made to cover quantities needed.
To meet the increased on-time delivery requirements of our customers, I became actively involved in the transition to EDI orders processing and invoicing, ASN, and EDT.
1990 - 1998 As the Product Development Manager, I supervised and coordinated a team of buyers, designers and clerical personnel. For every season, we would put together a new line for the sales department to present to our different customers. We would, on an ongoing basis, develop exclusive programs tailored to the customer's requirements and cost objectives.
1990 - 1998 Through in house and overseas purchases, my responsibilities as the Production Manager are to guarantee on time delivery of all orders placed. Also, in that context, I controlled the inventory levels established for exclusive programs, i.e., 2000 S.K.U.’s.
Issuing purchase orders for finished jewelry and/or raw components to meet the customers ship dates.

Responsibilities:
Meeting the customer, selling the different product lines and agreeing on delivery dates.
Setting up Pro Forma invoices.
Place orders into the factory or to the Orient once terms of payments were received.
Supervising the warehouse staff to insure on-time delivery of all those specific orders.
Sending shipping information, i.e., waybill numbers, etc.

A staff of 40 non-unionized workers.
Clearance of imports with the customs broker.

Credit notes (returns, authorized and non-authorized).

Packaging of products, i.e., carding of imported jewelry.
