Responsibilities

1987 - 1998 Under the supervision of the Vice President of the fashion jewelry department, my responsibilities as the Inventory Analyst were to ensure that stock levels were adequate to meet the turnaround time required to ship an order.

The inventory consisted of 20,000 S.K.U.’s, valued at $ 7 Million retail.

In agreement with the customer, Min./Max. inventory levels were established, and I performed a weekly analysis of the groups of S.K.U.’s sold.

Raw material inventory levels were established with the V.P. for the fashion jewelry department and our sales manager , and purchases were made to cover quantities needed.

To meet the increased on-time delivery requirements of our customers, I became actively involved in the transition to EDI orders processing and invoicing, ASN, and EDT.

1990 - 1998 As the Product Development Manager, I supervised and coordinated a team of buyers, designers and clerical personnel. For every season, we would put together a new line for the sales department to present to our different customers. We would, on an ongoing basis, develop exclusive programs tailored to the customer's requirements and cost objectives.
