CANE HOLDS MYSTERIES . . .Below you see one piece of our cane - one among thousands. It started life in the waterways near the winefields of the Var region of France. A cane farmer harvested this cane with a machete, and it spent the next three years on a French roof, drying in the sun. It was chopped and sorted into a barrel, where it spent another half year.

It was shipped from France to New Hampshire, where it was stored in a marked cane bin. You ordered it, and we sent it to you. When you open the box, you have before you the results of more than four years of nurturing, consideration and hard work. All of this preparation is for you - to help you make the best sounds the world has ever heard.
