Charles Darwin’s “The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals”

“The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals”, published in 1872, describes the universal nature of expressions. Darwin found how people of different ages (including the very young and very old) and from different races (in different countries), expressed emotions using the same movements. Darwin also found that these “states of mind” are also expressed in animals!
