Students will be given realistic scenarios to solve and document. Students will use system documentation to support these scenarios. This training will be done with a remote connection to CRS. Additional requirements will be a classroom with a multi-media projector, large whiteboard

Description Ericsson Customer Management System (ECMS) is an end-to-end customer care system for Ericsson Charging System (CS) 6. This course gives customer care support personnel an introduction to the architecture of ECMS and its integration to other CS components. It introduces customer care reference entities and their maintenance through the Configuration Management Client, which are subsequently utilized in the Customer Care client by front-end personnel. This course will describe the architecture and components of ECMS. It will also explain on how to maintain Customer Care reference data using the Configuration Management Client and how to execute standard back-office workflows related customer care.

Description Ericsson Customer Management System (ECMS) is an end-to-end customer care system for Ericsson Charging System (CS) 6. ECMS enables simplification and ease-of-use for CSRs through a user interface that provides a business view and workflows, rather than a highly-technical view of the system. Front-office tasks and maintenance is primarily completed through the Customer Care client. This course gives customer care personnel an introduction to the main customer care entities, functions, and processes completed in the Customer Care client. Description Ericsson Customer Management System (ECMS) is an end-to-end customer care system for Ericsson Charging System (CS) 6. ECMS enables simplification and ease-of-use for CSRs and customer care administrative personnel through Web-based user interfaces that provide a business view and workflows, rather than a highly-technical view of the system. Additionally, ECMS facilitates easy system operations and maintenance by providing gui-based monitoring tool. This course informs the IT-operations team how to run and maintain the infrastructure of ECMS. It discusses important maintenance features, such as alarm handling and server logs, housekeeping as well as backup and recovery, thus enabling a smooth operation of the customer care infrastructure.

Description Operators must ensure that their Charging System (CS) 16 is running as efficiently as possible and that there is no network downtime. The course covers routines to operate & maintain the Charging System (CS). The training is mainly focused on SDP server, VS Server and AIR server. TSP 7 Overview

Description This course serves as a general introduction to Ericsson Telecom Server Platform 7 (TSP 7) and its applications.

Learning objectives On completion of this course the participants will be able to:

1 Explain when is TSP a good platform choice and why

2 Identify the applications available on TSP

3 Understand the TSP hardware architecture including various components (for example, processor boards) and their interrelationships under the latest hardware versions (NSP 5, NSP 6.0, NSP 6.1)

4 Get familiar with the BSP hardware architecture including various components (for example, processor boards).

5 Understand the software architecture and the characteristics of processes, disk storage, data security, software upgrade etc.

6 Explain what external interfaces and protocols are supported by TSP and understand the Virtual IP architecture

7 Examine on a basic level how node management is performed and understand what kind of node management components exist (Fault Management, Configuration Management, Performance Management, Logging Service)
