Lion and the Mouse Once upon a time there was a lion who thought he was the mightiest and strongest animal in the jungle. As he was laying around he saw a mouse run in front of him. He dropped his paw and trapped the mouse. The lion picked up the mouse to eat him when the mouse begged that the lion not eat him. “If you let me go, I will promise to help you whenever you need it.” The lion thought this was funny. He decided to let the mouse go, even though he was sure he would never need the mouse’s help. Then one day the lion was walking around the jungle and he found him self caught in a net. He yelled for help, but no one came. Then he felt something on his back and he looked and saw the little mouse on his back chewing the rope that was holding him. Pretty soon the lion was free and the lion saw that every one needs help once in a while no matter how big they are.

The Gingerbread ManThe old woman and old man wanted a little boy, so they made

a gingerbread man. They opened the oven too soon and the little man ran away saying, “Run, run as fast as you. You can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.” The Gingerbread man ran away from all the animals in the forest, yelling all the way. Then he got to a pond. The fox took the gingerbread man to the middle of the pond. The little cookie kept moving to keep from getting wet. He was on the tip of the fox’s nose when the fox suddenly flipped the Gingerbread Man in the air and gobbled him up.
