There are many ways that a writer can tell about the characters in a story.
The writer can describe what the characters look like.
The writer can tell what the characters think about and say.
The writer can also tell how the characters act.
As you read, you will learn a lot about the characters in the story.
Look for all the ways that the writer tells about the characters in the story.

Protagonist
o Central character.o Person on whom action centers.o Character who pushes the action forward.o Character who attempts to accomplish something.o Usually seen as a good person or hero/heroine.o Usually round and dynamic.
