• 28 Jun 2019, Prestige Lecture on “Surgical robotic interfaces –teleoperation and augmented reality”, presented by Prof Sanja Dogramadzi, and hosted by Dr Heldge Wurdemann in UCL.

• The 4th Annual IEEE UK & Ireland RAS Conference, the University of Manchester, 21 Jan 2019, four themes: RAS for Extreme Environments, RAS for Manufacturing, RAS for Social-Health care, AI and Internet of Robotic Things, A poster competition session, Two Keynote Speeches: Prof Guang-Zhong Yang (Precision Robotics), Prof. Darwin Caldwell (Italian Institute of Technology), and 22 speakers on the four themes.

• Supporting the EPSRC Trustworthy Autonomous System Hub bid, organized the consortium of 12 universities for the bid at the end of 2019.

• Organizing a special issue, “AI and Edge Computing for Trustworthy Robots and Autonomous Systems”, and proposing a workshop on the topic at WCCI2020 (Cancelled, due to COVID-19).

• Proposing the topic of AI and Edge Computing for Trustworthy Robots and Autonomous Systems as a task force of Adaptive & Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning in the IEEE Computational Intelligence.
