ASHRAE sponsors this annual design project competition to encourage students to become involved in the dynamic profession of Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, to apply their knowledge to practical design use, and to promote teamwork.Student Design CompetitionTeams can complete in one or more of the following categories: HVAC System SelectionHVAC Design CalculationsIntegrated Sustainable Building Design1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes are awarded at the winter conference student program.

The ASHRAE Senior Undergraduate Project Grant Program provides grants to engineering, technical and architectural schools worldwide.Senior Undergraduate Project Grant

Up to $5,000 (USD) is available for projects New applications are available in August and due in December annually.

Running Chapter Reports Student Activities Chapter Chairs (along with Membership Promotion Chairs and Chapter Presidents) have access to reports to run student data.

The PAOE sets goals for the Society in the key areas of membership, meeting attendance, education, research promotion and energy management (technical support to public agencies). Meeting these objectives is essential if ASHRAE is to fulfill its commitment to serve society and its members.
