Answer all questions listed in your lab book. After configuring physical topology and programming switches and router and PCs show your instructor your finished lab before continuing to next lab. IMPORTANT: Notes for this lab . The WEB/TFTP server can be a plain old PC. VTP Domain names are Case-Sensitive!! Use crossover cables to connect switches together. Due to equipment considerations, this lab should be done with a partner. Do NOT try and ping the switches from the PCs. It will fail. Pings between PCs on different VLANs should now be successful if you have setup your router and switches correctly. The switches should be able to ping each other on their management VLAN ip addresses! HOMEWORK For homework do the following: LAB 6.4.2 Challenge Inter-VLAN Routing starting on page 259 of your lab book. DUE DATE: One week from tonight’s class September 23, 2010 6:00pm CST IMPORTANT: Notes for this lab . Do this lab using PacketTracer. The topology for this lab is already configured and is on the CD with your lab book. File name is LSG03-Lab642.pka. Send completed packet tracer file to our homework conference. Completion percentage should be at least 99%. It did NOT like my FastEthernet interface description for the router. I won’t take points away from you for that.
