How to Complete an Initial Registration• At MVC –

- complete application (include – insurance company & personal policy number)

• Out-of-State – secure original title (lien holder or leasing company)

• Proof of ownership - *New car – manufacturer’s cert. of origin & dealer’s cert. of sale*Used car – title signed by previous owner*Leased car – secure power of attorney (legal document that gives someone you choose the power to act in your place) from leasing company

Registration Renewal

• MVC mails it 2 months in advance• Go to any Motor Vehicle Agency• Mail it back in• Complete it online• Registration renewal
