• Cnidarians (ni DARE ee uns) are a group of invertebrates made up of more than 9000 species of jellyfishes, corals, sea anemones, and hydras.

• They can be found worldwide, and all but a few cnidarians live in marine biomes.

⚫ Snails, like many mollusks, use a rasping structure called a radula to obtain food.

⚫ A radula, located within the mouth of a mollusk, is a tonguelike organ with rows of teeth. The radula is used to drill, scrape, grate, or cut food.

Why arthropods must molt?
