• Go to HDO/Courses/cpsc580/JavaHotPot• Double click on JavaHotPotatoes6• Click JQuiz• Enter a title in the Exercise Title box• Enter a question in the large box after Q1• Enter multiple choice answers and feedback in
the appropriate boxes• Click the “Accept as correct” box after the correct
choice• File/Export/Create Standard V6 Page (this will
create an HTML quiz that you could put on line)

• Change the name to ***JQ in the Save As box at the top, where *** are your initials.
• Navigate to Desktop in the second row• Click Save and then View in Browser• File/Exit (Don’t save data file)• Open JavaHotPotatoes6 and click JCloze• Type a sentence and select a word to hide• Click Make Gap and then click Close in the box• Repeat for more words• Save as ***JC• Put both ***JQ and ***JC in my Week7 folder

Software Tool – Tux Paint• HDO/Courses/cpsc580/• Double click Tux Paint• Try the software and play.• There is sound so set your speaker volume to
an appropriate level at the upper right of your screen (click the speaker icon and adjust the slider).
• You will create an activity using Tux Paint to bring next time and a classmate will do your activity.
• A link to download Tux Paint is on my web page.
• Click Quit / Yes / No

open a TextEdit document• Use Safari to go to http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/• Select an image. Click the image.• Right click the image in the new window and choose
Copy Image• Go to Edit/Paste in the TextEdit menu.• Animations
