CHAPTER 2 QUESTIONS # 2, 3 AND 4CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVELOPMENT WITH REGARD TO COUNTRY CLASSIFICATIONQ.#2: Why might higher levels of development of a country be related to temperate locations?

Answer:1.) Historical Head Start - industrial revolution started in temperate England and Western Europe and then spread to temperate North America and other colonies with similar temperate climate conditions2.) Wider Range of Disease in Tropical LocationsThis may have decimated populations and restricted their ability to develop at a faster pace.
