The CAP Accreditation Committee gave IRMC this accreditation based on results of recent on-site inspections. IRMC’s lab is one of more than 7,700 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide. “The work that goes into maintaining this accreditation is tremendous, but it is done all in the name of better quality for our patients,” said Dr. Kali Freeman, Laboratory Medical Director. “The value of having an on-site lab which produces accurate and timely results is imperative. It is almost impossible for a physician to provide a thorough diagnosis without the assistance of the lab.” Clinical Excellence Awards – Nominate Your Peer Since 1999 IRMC’s outstanding nurses and patient care services associates have been recognized at the annual Clinical Excellence Award Ceremony hosted by the Foundation in May.
