Department of Transport and Main Roads & Australian Asphalt Pavement Association
Strategic Alliance
Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads has embarked on the removal of unnecessary red tape, overly restrictive standards and opened up the opportunity for innovation and alternative solutions on their road works. The freedom that this offers is tempered with the increased responsibility placed on the construction, consulting & traffic safety professionals who can now select from a wider range of options to safely undertake the works. This event explains the changing responsibilities.
