• Missione Possibile is a not-for-profit organisation born to support missionary and humanitarian projects to ensure the fundamental rights to life, health, education, respect for the family and freedom of thought.

• Missione Possibile aims to prevent neglect, abuse and exploitation of children, believing investing in the next generation will improve the quality of life for the future.

Cambodian Case Study

• Khmer Rouge killed almost 2 million Cambodians, destroying the social and schooling system and killing more than 85% of the teachers and educated people leaving Cambodia without qualified education professionals.

• 46% of Cambodians live under the national poverty line.

• Children are commonly required to work in the rice field or factories.

• 70% of the girls who complete 6th grade leave school to work in the factories.

• 54% of boys 10 to 14 years old work in the rice fields.

• 10% of Cambodian villages have a secondary school and

• 38% of Cambodian students have access to a secondary school.

Current projects

• Currently Missione Possibile is active in Cambodia and Haiti.

• As a Board, we have seen first hand the need for international support within communities in these regions and the difference that support can make.

• Missione Possibile has raised funds to build a primary and secondary school in Roong Village, Cambodia.

Mobile Clinic• Missione Possibile funds a Mobile Clinic. • The Clinic currently operates four times a week in several locations in the outskirts

of Phnom Penh.• The Clinic consists of a Doctor, Nurse and a Driver and provides medical care to

those without access to medical facilities.• The Clinic provides services such as health screening, medicines and reports of

serious cases to hospital.

Roong (Takeo Province) Cambodia

Our School…In Roong Village, 1.5 hour from Phnom Penh, Missione Possibile have designed and built a primarily school now with 360 students and 12 classes. The secondary school was built in 2014 and provides previously unavailable continuing education for students graduating from primary. It currently educates students in 4 classes.

The secondary school was designed by a leading group of Italian architects in support of Missione Possibile and built using locally sourced materials.

The school not only provides academic education, but education on values of the family unit, honesty, love and respect for oneself and others. Cambodia’s recent history has has seen these values compromised or lost. Education of the next generation, we believe, will bring positive change for the future.

The school environment also provides the opportunity to educate the children in personal care. Missione Possibile operates a dental health plan with students brushing their teeth at school daily. Dental care is a major issue in Cambodia due to diet and lack of running water at home.

Eye screeningIn association with the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association all students in the primary and secondary school received comprehensive eye screening. Some students were identified as requiring further examination. Those students will receive follow up care and be provided with corrective lenses if required.

intercampus Sports Education.The school works with intercampus for sports education. intercampus provides a program using the value of sportsmanship in the game of football as an educational tool.

• There is much to do. • There are ongoing costs of supporting the projects that are now

underway. Our schools have high on-going costs and an ever growing demand.

• Our mobile clinic needs support to access more communities and provide a greater range of services.

• Missione Possibile is focused on continuing to support the community as newly educated students take an active role in driving change. With education future generations will have the skills to positively contribute to the broader Cambodian society.

• With sponsorship of our projects we can continue the great work we have started.
