As last week we were working with the Present and Past Simple Passive
you are goig to change the following sentences from Active to Passive.
Change the sentences from present / past simple Active to
Passive.
1.-Lennon and McCartney wrote the song Yesterday.
2.-The Government ordered them to build a new bridge.
3.-Cook discovered Australia.
4.-Hundreds of people visit El Prado everyday.
5.-In many countries restaurants don’t allow dogs.
6.-People export Spanish tortilla to the USA.
7.-Columbus disvovered America in 1492.
8.-The child broke all the plates in the cupboard.
9.-You don’t find penguins at the North Pole.
10.-My uncle sold my bike.
11.-They grow coffee in Brasil and Colombia.
12.-Clare knits nice jumpers for the kids.
13.-Ted bought a new house in London.
14.-Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone.
15.-The maids clean the mansion everyday.
Now you turn to page 82 - 6.6 Writing a Report.
Read the report about house appliances past and present.
Now do exercises 1,2 & 3
Exercise 4. It is a writing task.
4. Write a report. Use the information to write about the positive and negative
effects of electronic gadgets on the environment.Follow the writing
plan .
This week you have to send me the ACTIVE TO PASSIVE
sentences and the REPORT . You know my email. The last day to
send them is 23rd May.

You start by Reading the travelogue which is about Malta.
Read it carefully, reading is reading and understanding. Watch
