Change of Address
Please be advised that I have moved. I received a call from God, the chief
Architect, and he informed me that my new home was complete.
You all knew that I had been working on my residency, sending up timber,
packing up and getting ready to go.
Well, my new home is finished and what a sight to behold.
It is located on an exclusive estate area.
I can dine at the Master’s bountiful table while listening to an angelic choir
and best of all; my Heavenly Father is here with me in all His Glory.

My Story

A Time To Be Born Thelma J. Kemp was born December 29, 1928 to the late George and Nellie Johnson. She was raised in the Sandfly Community.
A Time To Worship At a young age she joined the Isle of Hope Baptist Church of Sandfly for over 40 years. Later she joined the Union Skidaway Baptist Church and remained faithful until her health failed.
A Time To Nourish Thelma was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mr, David Chisholm. Out of this union three children were born, Minerva, James who preceded her in death, and Pamela. She was a strong very Independent woman who taught her children to be the same. Later she joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Sylvester Kemp.
A Time To Rest On Friday, August 16, 2019 Mrs. Kemp made her transition from her earthly home to heaven.
A Time To Mourn She leaves to cherish her love and memories her daughters, Minerva (Leroy-Jap) Simpson and Pamela Shuman all of Savannah, GA, grandchildren, Norris E. Simmons, Sonye L. Golden, James P. Simmons, Latasha L. Golden, and Ashley N. Shuman, six great grands, a host of great great grands and cousins, a life long friend, Mrs. Mattie B. Lewis and a adopted daughter, Melvina W. Parker.
