Dear Friends of Karate and Karate-Ka,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I would like to extend an
invitation to the upcoming Bihor Open-„CHAMPIONS DAY” International
Open Karate Championship,which will take place in Oradea, Romania on
October 03, 2015. The scope and level of competitors promises to make this
one of the most dynamic, exciting competitions of recent memory. Without a
doubt, your presence will add dimension and quality to a forum of elite athletes
testing and honing their skills. All levels and ages will have commensurate
categories and all will have a memory of a lifetime.
We have attached information for your review and submission. If you are in
need of assistance or facilitation, do not hesitate to use the contact
email/information listed. Of course, I am also personally available if you
should have any additional questions.
I look forward to seeing you personally in Romania taking part in this event
that does justiceto the work invested in each athlete and to Karate-Do.
I hope that the fact that the competition was advertised as an International
Open Karate Championship, will attract the competitiors of other styles as
well. I honestly hope, that you, who is reading my information letter, decide
your intention for participating and we will meet in autumn of 2015, in Oradea,
on the International Open Karate Championship.

INVITATION LETTER
Organizer: Ministry of Education by: Children and Pupils Palace Oradea & C.S.Shogunul – Oradea, Romania, Bihor County School
Inspectorate, Oradea City Hall.
Aim of the Competition: The chance popularly sportsmans of met with sportsmans from foreigh countries and the development of the relations of
friendships and the experience in competition, promoting the cooperation and friendship between the karate styles, and
making the sport karate popular.

CNKDASP. Chief referee Mr. Babinszki Robert. Foreign qualified referees are welcome. Please, apply in writing to
nominate your referee!

10:00-12:00 Tatami 1-2-3-4-5-6 Boys and Girls (Male and Female) individual kata and team kata
12:00-12:30 Break
12:30-12:45 Marching in, Opening Ceremony
12:45-20:00 Tatami 1-2-3-4-5-6 Boys and Girls (Male and Female) individual kumite and team kumite
Medal awarding ceremony will be continuously during the competition
Categories of competition: The competition categories we find entry form in Children 5-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years, Minicadetes 12-13 years, Cadets
14-15 years , Juniors 16-17 years, 18-20 years U21 - Youth, Seniors +21 years and veterans +35 years / Individual and Team
Kata and Kumite. Age has to be counted according to completed years on the day of the competition!
Weighing: It happens by random before the given category. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to controll the weight of the
competitors during the competition if it is necessary. In case the competitor was entered into a lower weight division than his
actual weight, then the given competitor will be disqualified! The number of the participants is not limited!
The Organizing Committe reserves the right to concentrate the categories depending on the number of the competitors!
All competitors have the right to enter in his own age-group and weight division. It is possible to enter in more other
categories according to the following: in KATA event in level and in age (just + 1 age-group) in KUMITE event in age
(just + 1 age-group) and in weight division. The chart about the categories is the part of the invitation to competition.
Rules: Education-(WKF-Modified) Kumite (Eight Points-Flag System) 5 Judges, Kata (Flag System), Individual Kata
will be applied with two athletes at the same time. All Styles Kata will be applied with one by one with 5 Judges. Kata and
Kumite direct elimination, without repechage two third places!

TEAM KUMITE The rules are the same as by the individual kumite! Number of the members of the team: 3 + 1 members by categories!
Protecting equipments: Gum shields, mitts red and blue, for women chest protection, shin pads and foot protection red and blue compulsory. For
cadets and younger age groups additionally face mask, for all kumite competitors body protector are optional.
Attention: All competitors must have their own red and blue belts.
The total score on clubs: International Open Karate Championship has two distinct classifications:
- For foreign clubs and national awards with the Karate Trophy "Bihor Open-Champions Day"
- For clubs Ministry of Education-MECS (Children and Pupils Palace) awards the Trophy ”Toamna Orădeană”.
- Scoring is the same in both versions: the place-I- 15 points, second-II- place 10 points, third -III- place 5 points.
Entrance conditions: The Sports Passports or BUDO Passports must be showed up by the registration. In all categories the verification of the
sports physician is needed (can competeregistration). The coaches are required to check the validity of the verification of
he sports physician and all competitiors are required to bring their valid health insurance certificate with them, because
howing this is needed for a possible health provision. All competitors must have insurance as well. The entry is a
declaration at the same about that the conditions are fulfilled, so about the competitor have a valid Sports Passports or
BUDO Passports, verification of the sports physician, valid health insurance certificate and insurance as well. The leader
is responsible for the lack of these documents. In the absence of any of the entrance conditions – if it is found out – the
competitor or the team might be disqualified.
To certify the age the passport, to certify the karate degree the Sports Passports or BUDO Passports are accepted by the
Organizing Committee.
The person arriving at the registration is obliged to bring the passports and Sports Passports or BUDO Passports of all
competitors. During the championship – on the basis of a notice – the age, degree and weight of the competitors will be
checked by the Orgaizing Committee, so it is suggested from the competitors to keep their Sports Passports or BUDO
Passports with them or with their leaders In the absence of this the competitor might be disqualified. In case the competitor
is disqualified because of the coach or of the fault of the competitor, or in case the competitor stands off, the entry fee won’t
be paid back by the Organizing Committee!
Entry fees: In individual events: 17 Euro / person / 1 event
In team events: 40 Euro / team / event
Deadline for entry: 30 th September 2015. time: 12.00 a.m.( E-mail)
AFTER THE DEADLINE ABOVE WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ENTRY!
Protest:
The protest has to be submitted in writing to the referee council (Chief Referees) of the tournament and 50 Euro, protest
fee has to be deposited. If the protest is accepted by the referee council, the fee is going to be refunded.
Accomodation: Accommodation can be done by the Commission to organize, on request.
Prizes: 1-3 places: medals and certificates, the winner of each category will receive a plaques and special award offered by the
sponsors.The winners of senior kumite categories: karate gi, special prize offered by Masibo Sport and other prizes offered
by the sponsors of the tournament. Cups for the first 3 foreign clubs and national (Romanian Federations and Clubs
Martial Arts Karate or). Cups for the first 3 clubs of the Ministry of Education (Palaces and Clubs of Children and Pupils)

The competitors and coaches are requested not to leave money and valuables unprotected ont he scene of the championship, because the Organizing Committe does
not take the responsibility of the possible disappearance of the taken things (of all kinds of damages or losses). In the name of the members of the Organizing Committe
