CHAMPI YA KANZI
Introduction
• Champi Ya Kanzi started in 1995.
• Situated in Chyulu hills, provides a luxury camp
which offers a five star luxury service and
amenities.
• Limited to 16 guests at a time, to ensure that
guest always feel like they are exploring the
wilderness exclusively.
• Great scenery of volcanic hills which is covered
in a rich green cloud forest. These hills are the
home of many varieties of trees, birds, insects
and mammals
Conservation
• Rain water is used and recycle the used water in a
pond for the wildlife.
• Work with Maasai leaders of the Maasai community
to manage their ecosystem.
• Avoid using of unsustainable farming practices.
• Eco- friendly charcoal is used to cook meals which
is produced from coffee husks.
• Food scraps are used in organic vegetable garden.
• Chickens and few cows, for an organic production of
eggs and milk.
• Staff are trained to assure minimization of garbage
production. All organic wastes are transformed in
compost.

• Masaai employees helps to protect the wild life population, and
mitigate human-wildlife conflicts,
• Support 5 health facilities, 26 schools, 62 teachers and over
8800 students.
