Assyrtiko Assyrtiko is Greece’s most striking white grape. It hails from the Cyclades island of Santorini and other Aegean islands, such as Paros and Tinos, as well as the island of Crete, It is also found on other scattered regions of Greece such as Attica, Macedonia and the Peloponnese. In Santorini many vines are non-grafted and vary in age from 30 to 150 years. On this windswept volcanic island the roots of the Assyrtiko vine can reach up to 60 feet in the black, ash-rich soil, giving the resulting wines great minerality. The vines are uniquely trained in ground-hugging, basket-weaved fashion to minimize wind damage during spring as well as grape sunburn in summer. Maritime humidity and fog contribute to small rainfall, in this improbable winemaking location. Different villages on this island result in varied styles. Wines classified as ‘Santorini’ are bone-dry, in-your-face, crisp, mineral-laden, high-acid wonders. Aidani Aidani is a white Greek wine grape variety that is grown primarily on the island of Santorini but it can also be found in other Aegean islands. The grape is known for its discreet nose, with hints of yellow fruits, minerality and flowers. On the palate is medium bodied, with moderate alcohol and moderate acidity. Usually, Aidani is blended with Assyrtiko, because it has the unique ability to provide roundness and floral complexity to the blend, without interfering with the majestic minerality and texture of a typical PDO Santorini. Nonetheless, the rare bottlings of pure Aidani are exquisite and worth hunting for. Aidani is mainly found in Cyclades. In specific, it makes dry and sweet wines (Vinsanto) in PDO Santorini, in Naxos and in Paros. 1010 Aidani, Ktima Agyros, Cyclades, 2017 68 1138 Aidani, Ktima Agyros, Cyclades, 2015 68 1072 Aidani, Ktima Hatzidakis, Cyclades, 2017 82 Athiri Athiri is an ancient white grape variety of the Aegean Sea, used for centuries to make excellent dry white wines. Ever since its qualities were recognized by vine growers across Greece, it has been an essential and extremely elegant expression of the style of white wines produced on the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands. Athiri produce wines with medium alcohol levels, soft acidity and a medium body, displaying freshness and vivacity. Athiri is grown all over the Aegean Islands and is important even in Crete. Nevertheless, numerous vineyards have been planted in the mainland, most notably in Macedonia, particularly in Halkidiki “PDO Côtes de Meliton” Nevertheless, the top results are achieved in PDO Santorini, when it is Blended with Assyrtiko and Aidani, and in the high vineyards of PDO Rhodes. 1071 Athiri-Assyrtiko, AA, Domaine Sigalas, Santorini, 2017 68 1078 Athiri-Assyrtiko-Roditis, Melissanthi, Porto Carras, 2016 60

Asprouda Asprouda of Serres is considered by the winery, located in Serres, Macedonia, as a variety having nothing in common with the other Asprouda in Greece which is like a generic name meaning whitish. ''Wine Grapes'' states that this name has been given to several distinct white varieties all over Greece with viticulturist Dr. Haroula Spinthiropoulou commenting that growers use the name for just about any unidentified light berried variety. Following the efforts by the winery the variety is now listed as an official Greek variety. Nerantzi started vinifying it since 2007 with the first commercial release in 2013. 1156 Asprouda of Serres, Domaine Nerantzi, Serres, 2016 60 Debina Debina is a white wine grape variety, delicate and crispy. Its origins are located in the beautiful Zitsa of Ioannina, where it is grown on the hilltops of the six villages in the famous Wine Region of Zitsa. It is considered to be unique in its kind due to the fruity, classy and elegant aromas of apple, pear and peach, which certainly can seduce the most demanding wine lover. A few hundreds of years back, it was the basic indigenous variety from which the wine makers of the area made the famous sparkling and semi-sparkling wine of Zitsa. Based on this fact, it is considered ideal for the production of sparkling wines. However, it is also suitable for the production of elegant, youthful dry white wines and so; it has rightly been designated as a P.D.O. Zitsa 1034 Debina, Domaine Glinavos, Zitsa, 2016 60

Katsano A gentle and alcohol-rich white grape variety, Katsano is found on the Aegean islands. The few Katsano vines cultivated are scattered among the vines of other varieties. George Gavalas, love and devotion to wine-making and his continuous effort to revive this rare, indigenous grape variety of Santorini. It’s only cover less than 1% of the total vineyard. Katsano produces a dry white wine with herbal notes on the nose, aromas of. On the palate it develops a rich taste, notes of flowers, and honey and lemon blossom with an exceptional balance, pleasant acidity and a long after taste. 1073 Katsano, Gavalas Winery, Cyclades, 2016 72 Kidonitsa One of the rare varieties of Laconia region, south east of Peloponnese Kidonitsa is an aromatic white-skinned grape variety grown in Laconia,. The variety was relegated before it was revived by local growers. The name of the variety comes from the world quince (which is “kidoni” in Greek) and unsurprisingly quince is the variety’s signature aroma. However, the variety’s aromatic character and flavors can be more complex, with citrus fruit and usually an unmistakable minerality. Kidonitsa gives varietal wines which retain its fragrant aromatic character. Best expressions of the variety give wines that are rich, with medium alcohol and refreshing acidity. 1079 Kidonitsa, Monemvasia Winery, Laconia, 2017 78 Lagorthi Lagorthi is a rare, almost unknown white-skinned grape variety, grown mainly in Achaia, in the northern Peloponnese. It tends to give fresh, light-bodied wines with low alcohol but high acidity levels. Lagorthi grapes tend to give wines that are lightly aromatic. Floral and citrus fruits aromas, like lemon and lime, are dominant and often complemented with some mineral notes. It does not take well to oak and is usually blended with Greek or international grape varieties. Its fresh character and high acidity pair perfectly with salads, seafood, and light lemony dishes with fish or white meat. 1028 Lagothri, Adoli Ghis, Antonopoulos Vineyards, Achaia, 2017 45

Monemvasia Monemvasia Probably originated in the eponymous port in Laconia in the Peloponnese and was used to make Malvasia, for centuries Greece’s is best known exported wine. When trade decline in the early 18th century, however, vineyards in the region were abandoned and only revived very recently, when Theodorerakakos and Malvasia Winery began replanting the variety with promising results. It is now known that the one in Monemvasia grape is not related to the Malvasia varieties, although this was a common assumption in the past. The cultivar is now mainly planted on the Cyclades islands, few Aegean Island, and Evia, with the majority begin on the island of Paros. 1046 Monemvasia, Bareli, Moraitis Winery, Paros, 2016 68 Moschofilero Moschofilero, the lively and floral white-wine grape grown in the Peloponnese region of Mantinia, gained its moniker for good reason. Pink-skinned and aromatic, the grape’s expression is wide-ranging. Still white, rosé and sparkling wines offer flavors that span from light and delicate, to ripe and fun-loving, to exotic and spicy. It’s often compared to Riesling, Traminer and Viognier, though its character is distinctively Greek. Moschofilero has existed in various iterations in Greece since ancient times, but its real popularity dates to the 1970s and ’80s, when forward-thinking Mantinia producers like Tselepos, Boutari and Spiropoulos drilled down into the behavior of the variety and began producing more elegant and terroir-driven expressions. 1065 Moschofilero, Anosis, Peloponnese, 2017 45 1009 Moschofilero, Domaine Spiropoulos, Mantinia, 2016 43 1063 Moschofilero, Semeli, Mantinia, 2017 46 1061 Moschofilero, Domaine Troupis, Mantinia, 2016 52 1036 Moschofilero, Salto, Domaine Skouras, Peloponnese, 2017 60 1053 Moschofilero, VIN De Gris, Domaine Tselepos, Mantinia, 2017 68

Malagousia Malagousia was rescued from virtual extinction in the 1970s by Professor Logothetis of Thessaloniki University, who collected vines from Nafpaktos, Central Greece and planted them in his experimental vineyard in Porto Carras, on the middle of the three fingers of the Halkidiki peninsula. The variety’s potential was spotted by Vangelis Gerovassiliou, who was the young oenologist at Porto Carras winery from the mid-1970s. In the ’80s, Roxane Matsa and one or two others began to propagate it further and the variety has since spread to many parts of Greece; there are now more than 300ha. Depending on vineyard site and practices, it can produce a range of styles: from fresh, aromatic and delicate, suitable for drinking young, to more full-bodied wines, vinified at least partly in barrel. Malagousia’s distinctive aromas, ranging from basil, lime and citrus to exotic fruits, are prone to oxidation and care is needed in the winery. The grape is successfully blended with Assyrtiko. 1023 Malagousia, Plano, Wine Art Estate, Drama, 2017 42 1011 Malagousia, Alpha Estate, Florina, 2017 47 1062 Malagousia, Porto Carras, Sithonia, 2017 48 1104 Malagousia, Gerovassiliou, Epanomi, 2016 62 1006 Malagousia, Kalogeri, Papagiannakos, Attica, 2017 45 1069 Malagousia, Domaine Zafeirakis, Tyrnavos, 2017 48 1019 Malagousia-Assyrtiko, Aplá, Oenops Winery, Drama, 2016 45 Malvasia Malvasia is the source of some conjecture in ampelographic circles; with some believing the vine is one of many sub-varieties of the omnipresent Monemvasia, while others claim it as an altogether separate cultivar. The name Malvasia is from a Greek port bearing the same title, from where it is thought to have made its ancient voyage to the Apennine peninsula. From bush vines, this has a lifted nose, a touch more aromatic than Malvasia di Candia. Very discrete though but still perfumed with lime blossom and jasmine and a nice touch of ripeness. More layered on palate with a nice satiny texture and slight greenness. 1050 Malvasia Aromatica, Douloufakis Winery, Crete, 2015 42

Moscato After the ancient times, the first mention of Samian wine comes in the 12th century. A monk named Theodurus wrote in a poem: they drink sweet wine from Crete and from Samos. He did not mention if the wine came from Muscat vines. It is true that sweet wine can come from other vine varieties as well. The Samian Muscat originally came from Asia Minor. It was brought to Samos at the end of the 16th century. Samian Muscat became well known after phylloxera destroyed many European vineyards. With their vineyards destroyed, French and Italian winemakers had to look for alternatives in eastern Europe and one of the those alternatives turned out to be Samian Muscat wine. The noblest sort of Muscat is that with small, pale yellow-skinned berries, known in French as Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains and in Spanish as Moscatel de Grano Menudo. In Italy it may be called Moscato d'Asti, Moscato di Canelli or simply Moscato Bianco. Its other aliases include Muscat of Frontignan, Muscat Lunel, Muskateller, Moschato Spinas or Muscat of Spina This sort of Muscat is capable of producing wines with real finesse and a particularly pure, floral sort of grapiness. 1068 Moscato Spinas, Karavitakis Winery, Crete, 2016 45 1021 Muscat of Spina-Vidiano, Rhous Winery, Crete, 2015 52 Robola The variety’s Italian-sounding name, together with its cultivation in the Ionian Islands located close to Italy, have led some to claim that the Robola grape variety is actually the same with the Ribolla Gialla variety cultivated in northeastern Italy. Whatever the case may be, striking differences between the two do exist, rendering Robola a truly unique and highly promising variety both in terms of morphology and taste. If properly cultivated and vinified, the grapes of Robola reward the effort in the best way imaginable, yielding dry white wines of refined character and expressing beautifully their terroir of origin. Overall, Robola is elegant and offers a sophisticated “goût de terroir” character which, at a time of globalized tastes, will certainly strike a sensitive chord with lovers of culture and wine. 1000 Robola of Kephalonia, Wild Path, Gentilini, Kephalonia, 2017 56 1039 Robola of Kephalonia, Sclavos, Kephalonia, 2016 64

Roditis Roditis is a pink-skinned grape variety and one of the most widely planted grape varieties in Greece. Despite its pink grape color, Roditis is cultivated for the production of white wines. It is grown throughput the Greek mainland. In Peloponnese, it is strongly associated with Patras’ vineyards, while it is also significant in the vineyards of Anhialos and Cotes de Meliton in Chalkidiki. Across locations, Roditis is usually blended with other local or international grape varieties. Best expressions of the variety give fresh, white wines that are medium to full-bodied with moderate acidity; they tend to have aromas and flavors of citrus and green fruit. 1014 Roditis, Paranga, Kir-Yianni, Macedonia, 2017 44 1040 Roditis, Folio, Ktima Mercouri, Ilias, 2017 42 Savatiano Savatiano is the most widely planted grape variety throughout Greece. It is grown in Attica, Central Greece, Macedonia, and the Peloponnese, while it is also found on the Greek islands. Nevertheless, it is mainly associated with the vineyards of Attica. It is a white-skinned grape variety traditionally used for the production of Retsina. Both varietal and blended versions of Savatiano can be found. Several Savatiano-based wines undergo some oak treatment. Although different expressions of the variety are available, Savatiano grapes typically give fruity wines of moderate alcohol and acidity with aromas and flavors of citrus, green and tropical fruits. 1001 Savatiano, Domaine Papagiannakos, Markopoulos, 2017 48 1105 Savatiano, Bareli, Domaine Papagiannakos, Markopoulos, 2016 60 Sideritis Sideritis is a rare pink-skinned grape variety grown in Peloponnese, strongly associated with the vineyards of Patras. Beyond white wines, Sideritis also gives rosé wines, because of its pink skin. Typical expressions are light-bodied, fresh and easy to drink, with relatively low alcohol and nice crispy acidity. They have a fragrant and broad aromatic character with dominant aromas of fruits and flowers complemented with mineral and spicy notes. The light and refreshing character of the wines made from Sideritis matches perfectly with salads, cold starters and many light lemony Mediterranean dishes. 1026 Sideritis, Parparousis Estate, Achaia, 2017 45

Tsaoussi Tsaoussi is a white-skinned grape variety grown mainly on the Ionian island of Cephalonia. Varietal examples are rare as Tsaoussi is more often blended with other local or international grape varieties adding an aromatic complexity to the blend. It tends to give light to medium-bodied wines, with an expressive aromatic character and flavors that remind of citrus fruits and stone fruits, as well as melon and honey. 1139 Tsaoussi, Sclavos, Kephalonia, 2015 62 Vidiano Vidiano is a fairly rare Cretan white-skinned grape variety. It almost became distinct, before it sparked a huge interest from local growers and consumers. Typical wines from Vidiano tend to be rich, with a medium to full body, and a wide spectrum of aromas and flavors that range from citrus fruits, stone fruits like peach and apricot, to tropical fruits. It also has light mineral notes. Vidiano wines are usually varietal, although many producers create blends with other local or international grape varieties. The variety takes well to oak, so there are many examples of Vidiano wines that undergo some oak treatment. The use of oak tends to add some sweet and spicy aromas. Because of its richness, Vidiano is a “food friendly” wine. It matches perfectly with grilled or baked fish. 1015 Vidiano-Vilana, Little Prince, Karavitakis Winery, Crete, 2017 39 1047 Vidiano, Elias, Karavitakis Winery, Crete, 2017 68 1007 Vidiano, Amphora Ferment, Douloufakis Winery, Crete, 2016 60 1106 Vidiano-Assyrtiko, Sole, Biblia Chora, Pangeon, 2016 65 1068 Vidiano-Plyto, Skipper, Rhous Winery, Crete, 2015 68

Agiorgitiko Agiorgitiko, sometimes known as Agiorgitiko or St. George, is a red grape variety native to Greece. Agiorgitiko is the most widely planted and among the most commercially successful. The grape’s origins lie in Nemea, a region in the Peloponnese peninsula, though it is widely grown elsewhere in Greece, too. Other notable regions where the grape is produced include Attica and Macedonia. Agiorgitiko produces wines with a bold red color, complex aromatics and generous, plummy fruit flavors. Agiorgitiko solid structure and well-balanced acidity make it incredibly versatile from a winemaking point of view.

Avgoustiatis Avgoustiatis is a rare variety, likely coming from the Ionian Islands. There are only a limited number of wineries who work with this variety: Mercouri, and Brintziki from Pyrgos, cross from the island of Zakynthos as well as Tinos Vineyards from Tinos Island. Grapes: Avgoustiatis gives compact bunches with small berries. The plants are sensitive to downy mildew. Harvest typically takes place during the first half of September. The resulting wines are deeply colored, moderate in alcohol, with high acidity and soft tannins with flavors of Cherries, plums, Mediterranean herbs, lovely spiciness. 2011 Avgoustiatis, Domaine Mercouri, Ilias, 2012 72 Biblinos The winemaking traditions in the area go back to ancient times. The Phoenicians transferred the grape variety “Biblos”, from which they produced the famous wine “Biblinos Oenos” to the vineyards at the foot of mountain Pangeon. Ancient Greeks started cultivating the variety, the wine and the area became known as Biblia Chora. At the time of Alexander the Great, the mountains had been the commander’s source of revenue for his campaigns. The grapes: Harvest usually takes place in the last week of September, It is a Mediterranean variety, and resistant to disease and heat the wines exhibit flavors of Cassis, pomegranate, savory element with a touch of spices and elegant tanning. 2126 Biblinos, Biblia Chora, Pangeon, 2011 81

Kotsifali The vinicultural bastion of Kotsifali red wine grape is the island of Crete. It is mainly grown in the Heraklion Prefecture and sporadically on the Cyclades islands. Kotsifali single varietal wines bear all the hallmarks of traditional “Southern Mediterranean” wines: low in color, relatively high in alcohol, with smooth tannins and soft acidity. Kotsifali finds in the other major red grape variety of Crete, Mandilari, aka Mandilaria, the perfect complementary blending partner as well as Syrah. All showcase the great potential of the grape in both modern and traditional styles. Indeed the current wine-making style of Kotsifali emphasizes streamlined, polished tannins and reflects the desire to yield, fruity, forward-drinking, graceful and subtle wines. 2058 Kotsifali-Mandilaria, Little Prince, Karavitakis Winery, Crete, 2016 40 2037 Kotsifali-Syrah, Rhous winery, Crete, 2016 47 2049 Kotsifali-Merlot, Klima, Karavitakis Winery, Crete, 2014 49 2117 Kotsifali-Mandilaria, Skipper. Rhous winery, Crete, 2014 62 Liatiko Liatiko is the foremost ambassador of a very individual and frequently poorly understood style, which, at the same time, is utterly delicious. It is a red grape variety that can produce very fine dry red wines. Liatiko has relatively low color intensity, verging on the garnet. Liatiko wine is intense, with rich, ripe red fruit and sweet spices. The palate is full, with high levels of alcohol, low and very soft tannins. Liatiko is found all over Crete, but the best wines are found in Heraklion, in the PDO Dafnes zone, and in Lasithi, in PDO Sitia, where 20% of Mandilaria can be added. 2046 Liatiko, Dafnios, Douloufakis Winery, Dafnes, 2015 47 2172 Liatiko-Mandilaria, Domaine Economou, Sitia, 1999 75 2052 Liatiko, Amphora, Douloufakis Winery, Dafnes, 2016 64

Limnio Limnio is a variety that manifests, beyond any question, the potential depth of the New Wines of Greece in today’s wine world. It is a grape first mentioned by numerous Ancient Greek writers such as Homer, Hesiod and Polydefkis, making it a unique artifact of ancient viticulture. Nevertheless, this red variety, used to make dry red wines, is still important today, even in areas where it has been cultivated since the distant Limnio wine is moderate in color, elegant in aromas and flavors, dominated by fresh, aromatic herbs and elegant, red berry fruits. On the palate it displays medium acidity, medium and very silky tannins, breadth, and moderately high alcohol. Surprisingly, Limnio is present but not very important on the island of Lemnos, considered its birthplace, its local name on the island is Kalambaki, Instead, the majority of its vineyards are found in northern Greece. Very good examples are being produced particularly out of Halkidiki in Macedonia on PDO Côtes de Meliton zone 2010 Limnio, Chateau Carras, Cotes De Meliton, 2015 52 2048 Limnio-Cabernet, Chateau Carras, Cotes De Meliton, 2006 70 Limmiona Limniona is a modern, rediscovered red variety originating from Thessaly, and more specifically the Karditsa and Tirnavos regions. Due to its great potential, Limniona is now grown in many parts of Greece, often in experimental vineyards. Limniona is among the rare red varieties that yield refined wines which are dense and rich, high in acidity and yet don’t feel dull, thick or overpowering. Wines from this variety have an extremely deep, vibrant red color, rich nose with aromas of dark fruit, spice and earthiness. 2070 Limniona, Domaine Zafeirakis, Tyrnavos, 2013 72 2012 Limniona, Theopetra Estate, Meteora, 2012 60

Mandilaria Mandilari aka Mandilaria is an indigenous Cretan variety with a wide presence across Crete and many other islands. It participates in the blends of the PDO wines of Peza and Archanes in Crete, as well as in Paros, while it is the sole grape in the red PDO Rhodes wines. A typical red from Mandilari boasts a characteristically deep dark red color, vibrant fruity nose, strong tannins and high acidity. It is usually blended with softer, rounder varieties Kotsifali and Liatiko, as well as spicy Syrah. Bottle aging is highly recommended. 2036 Mandilaria, Lyrarakis Winery, Crete, 2011 80 2173 Mandilaria, Venetsanos, Santorini, 2015 89 Mavrodaphne Mavrodaphne is mainly grown in SW Peloponnese, near Patras and is mainly used to create PDO Mavrodaphne Patron wines. Originally Mavrodaphne was used to produce fortified dessert wines. Only recently have single-variety wines appeared, still into sweet but also dry wines. Mavrodaphne produces almost black wines, with prominent chocolate and fine Arabica aromas in the nose and the palate, some notes of prune and raisin, with high alcohol and mild acidity. A distinct bitter spiciness in the aftertaste of its wines excites and adds yet another level of complexity. 2050 Mavrodaphne, Laura Nera, Acheon Winery, Aigialia Slopes, 2015 52 2072 Mavrodaphne of Kephalonia, Eclipse, Gentilini, Kephalonia, 2014 68 2080 Nera Daphne, Domaine Mercouri, Letrini, 2011 80

Mavrotragano Mavrotragano, the almost extinct variety from Santorini, named after its small, black, crispy berries, is one of the stars of Greek viticulture. Revived after a lot of work and research, Mavrotragano produces amazing, elaborate wines with aromas of the finest Arabica, tobacco and sweet red fruit. Robustness, rich mouthfeel and interesting minerality from the volcanic soil that it grows on make for an impressive wine all the way to the last hints of its long aftertaste. Mavrotragano wines and can age for decades in the bottle, maturing and evolving perfectly. 2105 Mavrotragano, Ktima Hatzidakis, Cyclades, 2014 128 2171 Mavrotragano, Ktima Hatzidakis, Cyclades, 2011 128 2138 Mavrotragano, Domaine Sigalas, Cyclades, 2015 126 2174 Mavrotragano, Domaine Sigalas, Cyclades, 2014 136 Negoska Negoska is a dark skinned variety from Northern Greece in Macedonia, named after the Slavic name for Naoussa. However nowadays it is only grown at the slopes of Mt. Paikos and participates in the blend of PDO Goumenissa wines, complementing Xinomavro. The production volumes of Negoska are so low that it is hardly ever vinified on its own. Single variety wines are dark colored, fruity, have mild acidity and soft tannins with a rounded, chocolatey palate. 2056 Negoska-Xinomavro, Chatzivariti, Goumenissa, 2012 68 2054 Negoska-Xinomavro, Filiria, Boutari, Goumenissa, 2007 92 2001 Negoska-Xinomavro, Tatsis, Goumenissa, 2004 80

Vlachiko Vlachiko is a dark skinned variety and, as referred to by its name, it is grown in the coldest, dampest parts of Northern Greece, in Epirus, close to the borders with Albania in high altitude, on the slopes of Pindos massif with low temperature, low insolation and heavy rainfall. Vlachiko yields dry red wines that are mostly oak aged and although mostly found in blends, as of recently it is vinified alone with promising results. It gives wines with bright ruby color, intense aromas of cool red forest fruit, sweet spice and green leaves. It is usually low in alcohol content, rarely above 12.5% with discrete and thin-grained tannins and exceptional acidity resulting in refreshing, charming and savory wines. Four to seven years ageing will bring out the best in these wines 2045 Vlachiko, Glinavos, Ioannina, 2009 68 2047 Vlachiko, Giniets, Rossiu di Munte, Epirus, 2008 93

Xinomavro Xinomavro, arguably the king of Greek red grapes, is the star in quite a few of the best and most acclaimed Greek wines. It is the emblematic variety of Naoussa and Amyndeon single variety PDO wines and the “chief” grape in the blended PDO wines of Goumenissa and Rapsani. Xinomavro is a particular vine to grow, as it demands special terroir and care. It is no wonder it is compared to Piedmont’s Nebbiolo, for its tortuous nature as well as its special characteristics. Xinomavro yields complex and multi-layered wines, with light ruby color, medium high acidity, full body and thick tannins. A typical Xinomavro expresses a complex bouquet of aromas ranging from dark fruit, gooseberry and violet to tomato, tobacco, chocolate and even olive paste.
