Keep it in Perspective – when compared to Traditional Media

“Traditional” Media

“Traditional Media” is a one way instrument of

communication

Content is

Educational

Informative

Entertaining

Advertisers “place” their message around

the type and style of content their target

consumer is most likely to be frequenting

Limited opportunity for consumers to “react”

immediately and directly to the content.

relationship and builds loyalty!

It’s another way to build the relationship….

Improve WOM, increase customer service and

encourage repeat customers

Give your audience an opportunity to be involved in content creation, along

Wait!!... Do not abandon your traditional media!!

People still watch TV

People still listen to the radio

People can respond to a billboard or OOH advertising

People still get print magazines

People still respond to in-store POS displays

And yes… people still read the local paper

It’s still about finding the right “mix” for reaching your TARGET and accomplishing a MARKETING OBJECTIVE!

Use the traditional as a means to raise awareness for your social activity

Think Integration!
