In February 2013 Challenge Future “Pakistan team “ in collaboration with 180 Degrees Consulting led by Faisal Imtiaz came up with the idea of conducting a conference on Social Innovation and that was the first time in Pakistan that this type of conference was organized. It was 2 day conference which will lead the youth to think out of the box for their societies.

The conference was a complete package of Innovation , Creativity & Fun exploring the new possibilities of “What’s next?”.motivational speeches by notable speakers, innovative group activities, and Skype sessions by Nat ware (CEO of 180 Degrees Consulting) and Bistra Kumbaroska (Community Manager of Challenge Future). Faisal Imtiaz, ( Leader C:F Local Representatives Network , led the Innovation Jam, a group activity

Social Model Project

>On 2nd Day of the event we organized a Social Model Project Competition at conference. We divide participants into 4 groups and gave each of them a task of developing a socioeconomic model to cope with the problem of water shortage in our country.It was a 2 hour activity which put the participants to think , design and present their model to achieve a real life social impact

> We Provide them with waste material like waste cartons, papers , plastic bags etc to develop their models

What we achieved ??

Pakistan has one of the world’s largest youth force , 64% of its Population .We have talent , creativity & strong will to implement our ideas on grounds but we lack platforms.Here , We need to provide platform to our youth in order to synergize our energy & efforts to achieve a combine goal of better prosper and peaceful world..

International Conference on Social Innovations was an effort to provide youth of Pakistan an opportunity to express their ideas regarding social innovations , entrepreneurship & Social businesses.We can proudly say that few participants started to work together on their join initiatives after the conference

ConclusionMs. Arfa Khalid ( Member Punjab Assembly ) was the chief Guest of the Event In her Speech She said that “ It is the most remarkable event I had ever attend in my life I am very thankful to the organizer for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this event”
