In the first months of 2012 the youth unemployment reaches almost 30% in Bulgaria
The youth unemployment in Bulgaria is the highest compared to other EU countries
Even for Sofia region (the richest one in Bulgaria) the youth unemployment is 11%
Discovery
The greater part of unemployed youth are still studying
The most of unemployed youth is among high school graduates 82,9% for 2011
There are career centers in most of the Bulgarian universities, but the amount of their members is shockingly small compared to the students enrolled in the university itself (for several big universities the number is 0)
Discovery
A lot of young people feel discouraged by the situation, they lack the self-esteem and feel like they lack the skills needed to search for a job
They prefer to search for employment abroad because of higher wages even for unqualified work force
Around 22 000 to 24 000 young people leave Bulgaria every year, most of them never to return
The main reason is the lack of trust that the Bulgarian education will provide them good job opportunities

The project target group will be young people from 16 to 29 years
Re-act has specialists in the HR field who have specialized in Brussels and France
Also cooperation with NAVET - National Agency for Vocational Education and Training for those youngsters who don’t have a university degree diploma. NAVET gives accreditation to educational centers which give work certificates for people without higher education

Several training courses will be organized Their main goal will be to prepare young
people for the realities of the “job-hunt”:◦ Using internet resources for job search◦ Preparing an adequate CV and motivation letter◦ Simulations of job interview for a real job offer
plus feedback from the specialists

Co-operation with NAVET:◦ Popularizing its’ work among the high school
students who don’t intend to continue their higher education
◦ Meetings between NAVET specialists and youngsters to promote the specialized courses that the education centers under NAVET organize
Solution
Job-fair where companies from the private, public and third sectors will provide information for their selection criteria for jobs and internships
Solution
The young and motivated team will spend 120 hours for preparation for the courses in Sofia, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, Vratza and Kjustendil
The training courses will take a total of 24 hours
NAVET co-operation will be appx. 8 hours Organizing the Job-fair and its’ happening –
another 120 hours
