Windows 2008 VM

Standard double NAT firewall restricted VLAN exposes VM and base OS to MSI for administration and as needed to the 3PL. Other systems (test equipment and general purpose PC) are not allowed to connect though EBR back to MSI or 3PL without compensating controls like soft tokens to verify identity of user, although bastion services hosted within the VM like NetIPC and SmartMGR do have connections back to MSI resources. *EBR CID 5006 is current example of firewall rules required.

MOTCM Server Configuration• Dual multi core processors 2+GHz with 8+GB Ram ,

300+GB Raid disk (Standard Server IBM 3650 with 4, 146GB drives in raid 5).• Preferred base hardware OS is VMware ESXi 4.1+

although RHEL 5.x+ or OEL 6.x+ have XEN virtualization capabilities natively. Special considerations are made for Windows 2008+ with virtual server or virtualbox if required.

• High availability locations will require at least 2 servers, shared RAID storage (SAN, NAS or SCSI) with clustering preferred.

• Redundant LAN, switches and power supplies• Tape Backup solution ideally Veeam or vBackup in

conjunction with NetBackup Server• Must be able to host at least 2 VM’s, 4 or more

virtual machines re required for FPS at CTO fulfillment centers

• .• .• .

Note: SFDC is an example 3PL shop floor control system which must interface with MOTCM Oracle instance for CTO operations. This sytem populates MotCM database interface tables with information about the manufacturing orders and about each unit that will pass by the test stations. The interface between SFDC and MotCM is called SFC_CMX and is part of 3PL SOW process.

• Linux VM (2+ vCPU, 4GB vRAM & 64+GB vDISK)• CentOS 5.5+, RHEL 5.5+ or OEL 6.x+• Oracle 10.2+ Server with NetBackup Agent

* 11G is untested but should work• Apache 2.2.3+ with Perl 5.8.5+• RMBTCPSERV (Oracle 9i or 10G client)• Microsoft SMB support using SAMBA-3.0+• Native NFS/NIS support• SRM/LX• XVNC• WWW / FTP / Mail / SSH / Telnet etc.

• Windows VM (2 vCPU, 1+GB vRAM & 64+GB vDISK)• Windows 2003SE with sp2 minimum , Windows

2008+ preferred• IIS 6+ with ASP, Dot Net2.0, 3.5, 4 & FTP• Admin mode Terminal Server• SSH server with loopback VNC• Windows shares as needed• Oracle 9i+ client• SQL Developer or PLSQL Developer• Optionally, Visual Studio, LabView, Test Stand as

required by MSI Test Systems Engineering.
