Professor Ilian Mihov

Ilian Mihov is the Deputy Dean for Faculty and Research at INSEAD. He teaches macroeconomics and econometrics and his areas of expertise include business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, economic growth, financial crises and exchange rate determination. Ilian has also taught in the MBA, EMBA, PhD executive education programmes and at the Global Leadership Fellows Programme of the World Economic Forum. In 2006, 2008 and 2009, Ilian won the Outstanding Teacher Award. As the Deputy Dean, Ilian is also responsible for the recruitment and development of the faculty on INSEAD campuses in Fontainebleau, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. He oversees the PhD programme and chairs the R&D committee of INSEAD. Ilian is also a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London) and is on the advisory board of the Bulgarian National Bank.

Bharti Gupta Ramola

Bharti Gupta Ramola is the Markets and Industries leader for PwC India. She has over 27 years of experience and has held various leadership roles during this period, including India Deals Leader. She is also a member of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Council of PwC. In her personal capacity, Bharti serves on the boards of Basix and Pradan, two of India’s leading non-government organisations engaged in livelihood promotion and micro finance initiatives.

Deepak Kapoor

Chairman of PwC India, Deepak Kapoor has served in a variety of leadership and client service roles during his 33 years of experience at PwC. Initially as an auditor and then as an M&A professional, Deepak has led the Financial Advisory practice for more than 8 years and the Telecom and Entertainment and Media practices for more than 10 years. He is also the founding Director of the PwC Foundation and is presently the Vice President of Community Services.


Ajay Kumar is the Tax Markets Leader at PwC India. His area of expertise ranges from acquisition related tax matters to permanent establishment related tax issues for foreign companies operating in India. With over 19 years of experience, Ajay also drives the tax policy initiative of PwC, involving international taxation issues arising out of the Direct Taxes Code.

Shashank Tripathi leads PwC’s Strategy and Research practice. As part of the Finance Effectiveness practice, he has more than 14 years’ experience in strategy, finance transformation, shared services and sourcing advisory.


Pradip Kanakia

Pradip Kanakia is an Assurance Partner with over 25 years of experience and leads the Healthcare Sector Practice at PwC India. He has deep expertise in US GAAP, IFRS and SOX 404. He is a part of PwC’s Non-Executive Directors’ (NED) programme, which helps NEDs discharge their fiduciary duties more effectively on the boards and audit committees.


Sanjay Tolia

Sanjay Tolia leads PwC India’s western region Transfer Pricing practice of 85 members. He has extensively advised leading MNCs on regulatory issues, transfer pricing matters, domestic and international taxation for the last 18 years.


Simon Venables

Simon Venables is the Deals Leader in PwC Africa. He is an integral part of the South African and African Advisory Leadership team and represents South Africa in the global Corporate Finance team. With rich and varied international experience of over 17 years, Simon has led numerous mandates and has advised MNCs on doing business in Africa.

Anand Dikshit leads the Food and Agriculture Corporate Finance practice at PwC India. With over two decades of experience in the banking sector, he has worked in various areas within investment, corporate and commercial banking.


Sukumar leads the Operations Consulting practice and is Market Managing Partner for consulting in the western region. With almost three decades of extensive experience in business advisory, his expertise includes supply chain design and transformation.

His expertise in IFRS-related financial instruments has helped leading companies across the globe. Having worked in the UK, Kumar has also been responsible for the preparation and delivery of training on IFRS in Europe, Asia and the US.


George Stylianides

George Stylianides is a Partner in PwC UK’s Risk and Capital practice. George has worked extensively with financial institutions in the last 20 years, leading a global insurance company as Group Risk Director. In that role, George developed and implemented an enterprise-wide risk management framework for the company’s businesses globally.

Vidya Rajarao is the leader of the Forensic Services practice at PwC India. She has more than 10 years’ experience in investigations and forensic accounting with leading domestic and international companies. Vidya is a Steering Committee Member of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in India and the Asia Regional Coordinating Committee Member of the ICC’s Young Arbitrators Forum.

Shyamal Mukherjee is the Joint Tax Leader at PwC India. With more than 26 years of experience, Shyamal is an expert in transfer pricing. He has assisted the government in drafting the rules for the Indian transfer pricing legislation. Shyamal has extensive experience in advising clients on cross-border investment structuring, contract structuring and permanent establishment issues.

Ketan Dalal is the Joint Tax Leader at PwC India with more than 30 years of experience. He is an expert in cross border tax issues, investment structuring, including mergers and acquisitions. Besides advising top multinational clients, Ketan is an avid speaker and author on tax and regulatory issues.


Vivek Mehra leads PwC India’s Mergers & Acquisitions Tax team. He has over 30 years of experience in crossborder transactions and investment structuring. Vivek has also played a crucial role in initiating and implementing policy initiatives related to foreign direct investments, exchange control laws and SEZ sectoral regulations.

Rahul Mitra leads PwC India’s Transfer Pricing practice. He specializes in transfer pricing aspects of inbound /outbound transactions, profit/ cash repatriation planning, value chain transformation and profit attribution to permanent establishments. With over 18 years of experience, Rahul handles litigation for top companies at the level of the Authority for Advance Rulings and Income Tax Tribunals.

Vivek Mishra heads the Indirect Tax practice in PwC India. He has provided tax advice to clients across a large number of industries. With over 18 years of experience, Vivek has led assignments in all aspects of indirect taxes, including outsourcing of VAT and service tax compliance.


Kanchun Kaushal

Kanchun Kaushal is a Partner with the Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution group of PwC India. With over 20 years of experience, Kanchun has handled litigation from the primary level up to the levels of Appellate Authorities including the Dispute Resolution Panel, the Authority for Advance Rulings and Mutual Agreement Procedure.
