QUALIFICATION SYSTEM 2.1 COMPOSITION The competition consists of 24 teams per gender and is composed as follows: 2 host country spots 1 spot per National Federation organising a National Championships in 2019 or 2020 before the CEV EuroSnowVolley 2020 (homologation form in annex) Best ranked teams in the CEV Entry Ranking 2.2 GENERAL PRINCIPLES Country Quota: 3 teams for host country and maximum 2 teams for foreign countries National Federations receiving a spot through the National Championship need to participate minimum once in a European Tour event in 2019 or 2020 with the respective gender before the CEV EuroSnowVolley 2020. Countries organising a European Tour event have the option to count this as a National Championship. The order of teams on the Reserve list is as per the following order: 1. National Champions 2. The National Federation of requests to

organise a National Snow Volleyball Championship on the following date and location:

If the date and location are not decided yet, this form shall be submitted once again duly filled no

later than 15 days before the start of the National Championship.

The National Federation organising a National Championship may qualify directly to the CEV

EuroSnowVolley 2020 (date & venue tbc). In order to benefit from this right, the National

Federation agrees, acknowledges and warrants to fulfil the following minimum requirements:

Organised min. 15 days before the CEV EuroSnowVolley 2020.

Minimum participation of 4 teams per gender.

If any prize money, this should be equally distributed among men and women’s teams.

Enforced Official Snow Volleyball Rules.

Competition format: at the discretion of the organisers. It is recommended that a

competition system allowing the teams to play at least 2 times is implemented.

Mandatory use of the Volleyball Information System: for NFs to register athletes and for the

organiser to update the results and ranking.

Sending of post event report including media articles, photos, etc.
