About CETA ToursAbout CETA ToursCETA was founded by two foreign language
teachers.
They have been arranging tours abroad for students since 1974.
They are based out of Menomonie, WI.
Tour InclusionsTour InclusionsRound-trip air transportation from Chicago on
Icelandair, including departure and security taxes
Land transportation on air-conditioned motor coach and public transit
Multi-bedded accommodations in youth hostels
Flight schedules and hotel lists will be available in April 2016.

arranged by Mme Jonas and Mme Peters
Meal InclusionsMeal InclusionsAll breakfasts and dinners are included during
the tour.
Meals are provided by host families during the family stay.
The meals on tour are eaten as a group either at the hostel or in a nearby restaurant.
Other InclusionsOther InclusionsEntrance fees are included in the tour price
for all sights listed in the itinerary.
Supervision on TourSupervision on TourThere is a one to eight teacher to student ratio.
Mme Peters will lead the tour.

Spending MoneySpending MoneyWe recommend $200 - $250 to cover beverages and some
snacks. This does not include souvenirs.
Most students take $300 - $450 on a trip this length.
There will be information about how to get currency while in Europe at future meetings.
Payment SchedulePayment Schedule$500 is due with the application on July 6, 2015.
Second payment of $800 is due October 15, 2015.
Third payment of $800 is due January 15, 2016.
Balance is due March 15, 2016.
A financial statement will be mailed or e-mailed directly to students and their parents upon receipt of application.
Invoices will be mailed or e-mailed directly to students and their parents several weeks before each payment is due.
Cancellation PolicyCancellation PolicyCancellations made through December 15, 2015 incur a
$125 penalty.
Cancellations made between December 16, 2015 and March 15, 2016 incur a $500 penalty.
Cancellations made from March 16, 2016 and up to 31 days prior to departure incur a $500 penalty plus any lost deposits for bus, airfare and accommodations.
Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to departure will not receive a refund.
Tour PriceTour PricePrice is based on projected air fare and current departure taxes and is subject to modification.
Price is based on the value of the dollar as of May 15, 2015 and is subject to modification.
The trip price is based on a minimum number travelers: $3,069 with 20-24 paying participants $2,989 with 25-29 paying participants $2,939 with 30 or more paying participants
Extensions and DeviationsExtensions and DeviationsExtensions and deviations may be available on a limited
basis.
Please fill out the deviation form on the back of your application and CETA will contact you about the price of your deviation before booking it for you.
All deviations must be requested at the time of application.
InsuranceInsuranceTrip cancellation/interruption/medical insurance is
not included in the tour price.Information about purchasing insurance will be
sent to participants with the first financial statement.
Travelers who do not have medical insurance need to purchase it for the duration of the tour.
CETA Tours highly recommends that travelers purchase trip cancellation/interruption/medical insurance.
CETA Tours can answer questions you may have about insurance and purchase it for you over the phone
ScholarshipsScholarships
CETA Tours offers five need-based scholarships in the amount of $500 each to students participating on a CETA Tour.
Application packets are available on-line.
Application deadline is January 15, 2016.
Winners will be notified in writing within 45 days of application deadline.
Winners can expect the $500 credit to appear on their final invoice.
Future MeetingsFuture MeetingsOnce your group is formed, your teacher will hold
more meetings to help you prepare for your tour.
Your teacher will go through the information found on-line, so attending these meetings will be very important.
