• Au rez-de chaussée = on the ground floor

• Au premier étage = on the first floor

• Au deuxième étage = on the 2nd floor

• Au troisième étage = on the 3rd floor

• Au quatrième étage = on the 4th floor

First, second, third….

• Just add :- ième to the number

• Deux ___________ Deuxième

• Trois ___________ Troisième

• Cinq ___________ Cinquième

• Six ___________ Sixième

• Vingt ___________ Vingtième

Exceptions!!!

• Un _______ Premier

• All numbers ending in « e »:drop the « e » and add « ième »

Example:Quatre ______ Quatrième

Onze _______ Onzième

• Neuf _______Neuvième
