Background Check@ www.txdps.state.tx.us; click on Services then
Criminal History Search, then Crime Rec-
ords, then Criminal History Conviction Search. Set up an
account, buy one unit, print.
Immunization Record with the following:
One dose of Tetanus-Diphtheria toxin within the last ten
years
Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine- series of 2
Complete series of Hepatitis B three shots
Varicella vaccine (Chicken Pox) or acceptable evidence of the
disease
Negative TB skin Test or Negative Chest X-ray
Drivers License, proof of ageMust be at least 17 years of
age.
Social Security Card required
The nurse aide program provides the preparation for entry level
nursing assistants to achieve a level of knowledge,skills and
abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term
care facilities. Topics include: residents
rights, communication, safety, observation, reporting and
assisting residents in maintaining basic comfort and safety.
Tuition: $500.00Plus: $93.00 state test fee

and associated Workbook, ISBN-13: 978-1604250305 available at
the Navarro College Bookstore andRed Scrubs required for all
