Program HighlightsThe CNP is a competency based credential. Through co-curricular activities including academics, participation in the RSO, Nonprofit Leadership Student Alliance, and an internship, students reach the 10 competencies needed to earn their CNP.

CMU’s Nonprofit Leadership Student Alliance (NLSA) is a student run academic organization that allows students to gain fundraising experience, service-minded professional networking, and to build social capital through capacity-building and mission-centric work.

Career Options Public and Nonprofit Administration emphasizes the teaching of real world management and analysis skills applicable to any sector. The nonprofit sector is vast, and there is a lot of work to be done. As a CNP, students have proven skills to advance in fields such as:
