offers an excellent English Language program for students
preparingto enter further studies at a tertiary level. The program
helps to develop the student's skills in essay writing,delivering
oral presentations, reading academic texts and listening to
lectures. The certification offered is an
Australian Government recognised qualification. Studying
certificate III and IV over duration of 1 year willenable students
to enrol in Australian universities as they will achieve the
required English standard.

Students successfully completing the course willreceive the
21939VIC - Certificate III in ESL(Further Study). Participants are
provided withadvice on employment and further trainingoptions
throughout the delivery of the program.
To qualify for admission to the course, applicantsmust
demonstrate to the satisfaction of theCourse Co-ordinator that they
are capable ofsuccessfully completing the course.
Recognition of prior learning may be availablebased on skills
and knowledge Acquired by theapplicant through previous study, as
inarticulation, informal or formal learning or fromwork and/or life
experience.
Course is offered full time for 10 or 20 Weeks orpart time
equivalent
This program is delivered in a classroom based environment face
to face teaching,lectures, discussions, quizzes and English
listening tapes.
Assessment comprises written work, assignments and quizzes.
Assessments quizzeswill include grammar / vocabulary skills,
reading, writing, speaking and listening.
