    I. Real Time Data

Real time data will be sent to the Modular Mining machine computer. The data listed below willbe sent to the MM pc at the rates listed. Only the data listed will be sent via the real time datainterface. The real time data interface is not intended for data storage.

Real time data will be sent via the serial port interface regardless of what is happening on themachine at the update rates shown in the following table.

    ITEM DESCRIPTION UPDATE RATE (MS)

1 Tons in BucketThe tons in bucket is defined as thecurrent tonnage in the machine dipper.

It will start being displayed when the bucket isdetected as being full and the machine beginsto swing to the truck. It will continue tocalculate the tonnage and update until the

    dipper is tripped.

It will be reset to 0 (zero) when the bucket istucked prior to ground engagement. The lastknown weight in the bucket will continue to bedisplayed after the dipper is tripped and unti lthe bucket is tucked.

    500 ms

2 Truck WeightThe truck weight is defined as totaltons detected as having been loaded in the currenttruck since the START load command wasreceived from Modular Mining.

The truck weight wil l reset when the endcommand is received from Modular Mining.

The current dipper weight wil l be added to thecurrent truck weight each time a bucket istripped in the current truck.

    II. Modular Mining Data Collection

The following data points will be collected on a truck by truck basis. Data collected in thisfashion is based on totals for each truck. Each time an END command is issued from Modular

Mining, AccuWeigh will issue the following data string:

LOAD AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE FFF GGG HHH III JJJ

Where:AAA= Total truck tons (total tons loaded in current truck)BBB= Total number of buckets loaded in truckCCC= Total number of seconds between END commands from Modular MiningDDD= Total number of seconds spent propelling since last truckEEE= Last bucket weight in tons (weight of last bucket loaded into the truck)FFF= Total number of seconds spent swinging over 100 VDC on the swing motor armature

GGG= Last truck number sent to AccuWeigh from Modular MiningHHH= Shift ID sent to AccuWeigh from Modular MiningIII= First bucket weight in tons (weight of first bucket loaded into the truck)JJJ= Total swing angle (total swing angle in degrees spent swinging to and from the truck

Customer defined data points (truck by truck), enter the additional data you would like to collecton a truck by truck basis in the list below, the AccuWeigh data string will be modified to send thecustomer required data within the quotations as defined below:

    KKK=LLL=

    III. FE Data Collect ion

FE data collection collects the following data points on a bucket by bucket basis and stores it ina MSQL database on board the shovel. The data is stored on the machine until failure of the PC

hard drive. In order to transmit the data from the shovel to the office server, wireless networkingis REQUIRED. An additional cost is associated with FE data transmission, the office servermust be supplied by the mine site at the mine sites own cost. Any server will work for thisapplication as long as it has Microsoft SQL installed on it.

The following data points are collected on a bucket by bucket basis:

    Bucket Tons

    Truck Number

    Modular Shift ID

    Truck Tons

    Number of Buckets in Truck

Cycle Time (number of seconds from dipper trip to dipper trip) Bucket Fill Time (number of seconds to fill the bucket)

Propel Time (number of seconds propelling since last bucket)

Swing Time (number of seconds spent swinging since last bucket)

    Swing Angle

Length of Crowd Stick at Dig Toe

Length of Hoist Cable at Dig Toe

Length of Crowd Stick a Dig Breakout

Length of Hoist Cable at Dig Breakout

Shift Time Stamp from Modular Mining

Available additional data points: Stage one boom jacks

    Stage two boom jacks

    Hoist dig energy

    Crowd dig energy

    Hoist stall events

    Crowd stall events

Swing in bank eventsCustomer requested additional data points:

FE data collection is based on the following mine responsibilities:

    Maintenance of WinCC licensing

    Maintenance of mine wireless network

    IV. Specification for communication

    A. Serial Port Setup

The serial port communications will function based on the following:

Baud Rate: 1200Data Bits: 8Parity: NoneStop Bits: 1Protocol: ASCII

    B. Serial Command Structure

REAL TIME DATAReal time data will be sent in the following format:REAL AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE FFF

Where:AAA = Current bucket tonsBBB= Current truck tonsCCC= Customer defined 1DDD= Customer defined 2EEE= Customer defined 3FFF= Customer defined 4

TRUCK RESET COMMANDWhen the operator touches the truck reset button on the Modular Mining Screen, the ModularPC will issue the following ASCII command:

    RS

MODULAR DATA COLLECTIONAt the start of the load of a truck, the Modular PC will issue the following ASCII command:

    START AAA BBB CCCCC DDDDD

Where:AAA = Truck NumberBBB = Target Weight for Truck

CCCCC = Modular Shift IndexDDDDD = Modular Shift Time Stamp

At the end of the truck load cycle, the Modular PC will issue the following ASCII command:

    END

Once the END command is received, AccuWeigh will issue the following ASCII string:
