From “Staff Rules and Regulations” + AC23
9th November 2006
Véronique Lefébure
CERN RulesStaff Rules and Regulations + AC23 IT proposal to HR (23.08.2006 )
Service organized for a period of ≥ 1 month ≤1 month should be possible
≥5(4) persons in turn are on-call after working hours (from call from CERN)
Staff members and paid associates + Fellows + (unpaid) associates
“free stand-by” person in action = “stand-by” possibility to oblige someone to be on piquet during Christmas break
Rest period ≠ compensatory leave
Max nb of hours on duty = (7x24)-40=128h/week, max 9(12) weeks/year(-> 6 persons !)
If > 55 year old, one can refuse to be on duty
The Division leader decides who can call the Piquet (+log name, time, reason for call, duration, …)
include transportation time counted in work time
