The Cherry Blossom Festival. The Spring Festival.

This great feast of joy by the arrival of the spring thanks to the bloom of more than one million cherry trees

that dress without a doubt one of the most beautiful regions of Spain, the Valley of the Jerte River held from

March 19 to May 3.

At only a few kilometres from Plasencia, practically this city you can admire far this wonder of nature.

Here is a summary of the program of this great festival.

Awakening of the Valley. (From 19 to 31 March)

MARCH 19

The historic-artistic site of Cabezuela del Valle received the spring decking the streets with flowers. The beauty of itsstreets this staging joins just after the equinox. Spring has begun in the Jerte Valley.

Cherry Blossom

(From 1 to 9 April)

Through the cherry tree in flower 2016 free bus. TO

Five free buses circulate by the Jerte Valley during the cherry blossom 2016, the Fiesta of national tourist interest,

which will be held from 1 to 9 April. The transport network will travelers by all peoples and main attractions of the

region of the North of Extremadura, in order that visitors leave their vehicles in car parks, the days of celebration-
