Modeling a Figure:Modeling a Figure: Sculpt a clay figure that incorporates Henry Moore’s unique

concept of “enclosed space” by “opening up” spaces around the shapes.

Begin by creating a biomorphic abstraction of the monumental figures:

Consider how to stylize or simplify the curvilinear shape of the figure into basic organic forms, weighted in some areas by gravity and opening interior spaces in other areas by attaching the appendages to the torso
