Claims – Improved Claims Settlement Handling

CX Multi Location now available across 13 of the CX schemesFor the first time the CX Broker Portal allows agents the ability to add more than one risk address to the same policy.

This function is available across the majority of schemes offered by Commercial Express, including the full Package & SME range, all Property Owners schemes, Trailer and Caravan schemes.

If you have a client with a portfolio of risks within the same class, you can add further risks at any point during the policy year.

For any risk location after the first, a 10% discount will be applied providing it is added at inception. Any location added mid-term will be discounted 10% at renewal of the policy.

New Terms of Business AgreementOver the next couple of months we will be issuing a copy of our updated Terms of Business Agreement that we will need you to sign and return along with proof of your Professional Indemnity cover.

The new CX Terms of Business will continue to offer the flexibility and benefits of Risk Transfer across all CX schemes*

New AppointmentsCommercial Express has announced a series of appointments designed to strengthen our offering and help support the ongoing development of new products.Phil Lackie joins as Business Development Manager and will be responsible for the West Country and South Wales region. Phil has over 10 years experience working within broker and insurer environments and has previously worked at NIG, Aviva, Ecclesiastical and Hayes Parson.

Richard Jones joins as Catering Underwriter having previously worked at Footman James, HSBC, Torque Vehicle Solutions and Mobilers. Richard brings several years experience working within a catering underwriting environment and will support the team in servicing our agents across the spectrum of catering products.

Matt Caves has been promoted to Underwriter and will be supporting the existing underwriting team across our growing portfolio of products.

Victoria Cooper has been promoted internally to Agency Liaison Officer to help further improve service to our network of agents. This includes responsibility for general enquiries and the day to day operation and maintenance of accounts.
