To advance the draft Environmental Forums and Educational Conference of EDS

coordination is established from the RCE Bogotá and once defined at the beginning of the year, the activities undertaken during the yearwe proceed to establish the responsibilities of each institution RCE member of Bogota, in the management and implementation of each activities.

the RCE Bogotá consists mainly of universities and environmental ONGs

• those institutions which are responsible for the logistics of each event, they provide the necessary human and financial resources.

• So far we have advanced 40 Environmental Forums and Conferences Pedagogical ESD as part of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development led by UNESCO,

UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL, LIBRE, PILOTO, UDCA, BOSQUE, SANTO TOMAS, PEDAGOGICA, DISTRITAL, COLEGIO MAYOR, CUNDINAMARCA

• Each year the Environmental Forums have as a common thread the theme proposed by the Decade and this year 2013 the subject referred to "Ethics and values for Sustainability " issue of great importance in today's world in this century .

• The most important event this 2013 was the Luis Eduardo Mora Osejo Environment Catedra (professorship – chair) with the Environment Ministery as a organizer

• Among the unexpected results of the vinculing project is a network of recyclers Climb called "Give me your hand" to RCE Bogota. This network corresponds to a second-tier organization. Currently involved in the invitation to tender processes for recycling in the capital city.

• Another unexpected result of the project is that the papers presented at one of the forums, served the Congressional Committee 5, for discussion of the Forestry Law in our country.

• The RCE Bogotá through Forums Project Environmental and Educational Conference of EDS, has been established as the coordinating and promoting the activities of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development led by UNESCO, being the entity that leads to Colombia the theme proposed by the Decade for each year,

• As part of the process of educational innovation, the RCE Bogotá has been linked to other Universities networks working for environmental sustainability, such as RAUS, ARIUSA and GUPES , achieving SINERGiAS between these networks , in favor of ESD.

Among the novel contributions Forums Project Environmental and Educational Conference for Sustainability Education we

mention the following• The interdisciplinary and collaborative work team• Working with over 10 universities public and private institutions• Achieving Interagency and Intersectoral Coordination• Working without financial remuneration• Having a voluntary coordination• Bring as guests, featured speakers at national and international

level• Achieve a wide call for students, teachers, researchers and the

general public in each of the Environmental Forums and Educational Conference

• On average we have had 200 participants per event and to date we have conducted 40 Environmental Forums and Educational Conference, which on average has a coverage of 8,000 participants

would be desirable to organize regular meetings where RCE

• We believe our Forums Project Environmental and Educational Conference on Environmental Education, can be socialized with other RCEs from other regions of the world
