that will progress you on to University ClAire hADwin grAPhiC Design leCturerClaire was a student at Wigan & Leigh College from 2000-2002 where she picked upher Level 3 Extended Diploma in Graphic Design before graduating from the Universityof Salford in 2005. Claire enjoyed four years working in the industry for a range ofeditorial agencies before returning to College in 2009 to lecture and gain her PGCE.Since then, Claire’s most memorable achievement was guiding students to multiplehonours with the British Glove Association, winning ‘best contribution’ and runner upagainst other Colleges nationwide.

Jo wooD FAshion leCturer & FreelAnCe DesignerAfter graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in 1999 with a degree in Fashion,Jo has gone on to enjoy a successful career within the fashion industry. Working full-timefor Littlewoods, Matalan and Ethel Austin has not only given Jo valuable experience, but thechance to experience work in Europe and America. Jo has lectured at Wigan & LeighCollege since 2010 and still enjoys freelance work for a range of clients includinginternational supermarket giant, TESCO.

lee PAton Art & Design leCturer Lee graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1997 with a BA (Hons) in FineArt before going on to run a successful studio in Manchester for five years. Lee completedhis PGCE at Wigan & Leigh College in 2003 before returning to lecture in 2007. He has goneon to establish great links within the community and has taken part in a number ofsuccessful trips each year. Lee is now course leader for the College’s HND in Fine Art andLevel 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design.

teresA ryAn Art & Design leCturerTeresa graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Fine Art and joined theCollege in the 2009/10 academic year after completing her PGCE at Edge Hill University.Teresa has gone on to establish strong community links, most notably conducting arange of mural work for Marus Bridge Primary School. She has also worked on projectswith Manchester’s Northern Quarter, creating a breath-taking 63 foot mural.
