League champions are looking to repeat the success they brought

to the field last year. It’s going to be tough though, with the roster going through a

big makeover. Only seven position players were signed through the 2010 season, which means the team will have to gel fast. Despite the obsta-cles, the season begins in just a mere few weeks and the reigning champs hope to repeat their success. Make sure you clear your schedule

to catch a game with some friends at the beautiful Sovereign Bank Stadium and

watch the Revs dominate the competition again.

C K 8 sports is

bringing an Adult Co-ed kickball league to

Springettsbury Park. Look at the CK8 website for updates and upcom-

ing details on the league.

Expe-rienced base-

ball players looking to play in a more intense

league should try out for the Pleasureville Se-

nior Legion baseball team.

The Lanco Fieldhouse offers a

wide variety of leagues to play in. Whether it’s 3-on-3 soccer, dodgeball, flag foot-ball, or even field hockey, the wide variety of sports gives

a chance for everyone to have fun.The

York Sports and Social Club gives adults

the chance to participate in a wide variety of sports, such

as flag football, dodgeball, beach volleyball, kickball, and more! Come to this relaxed environment and make new friends. Sorry stu-

Tips on Staying Healthy for Summer

How to Prevent Nature Mishaps...

Poison Ivy: Shiny green leaves of three are to be avoided!

When hiking wear jeans to avoid accidental brushes up against your skin, also keep benadryl liquid on hand so if you start to itch.

Ticks: Sadly there is no way to completely avoid ticks. Clean hair and hats do help however. If you do spot a tick make sure

it is not a deer tick. If so, carefully remove within 24-72 after being attached to the skin and make sure to get the head and seek medical attention immediately. Good areas to check are head, in socks and shoes, and loose clothing.

After being in the woods it is always good to do a once over.

Sunburn: The best way to protect yourself against a sunburn is to use sunscreen. Also when the sun is at its peek

around mid-day, try to stay near shaded areas.
