IntroductionMy name is Sylvia Berresford. I amcurrently studying Advanced Diplomaof Graphic Design at Central Tafe Perth.After researching the websites of yourcompetitors and reading through yourbrief I have produced a draft foryour appraisal.
Thank you for the oportunity of pitchingmy website.
Current WebsiteAlthough the current website is easy toread and manouver throught it needsa more creative look.
Some improvements could be:• logo branding• more vibrant images displayed• consistency on each page • a solution to the text running into each other
CompetitionThe two examples of competitive webpages present well but are not as dynamic as they could be. The use ofwhite space give them a feeling ofluxury to present the artwork in butlarger images and a more structuredpresentation would give a more dynamiclook to the designs.
New LogoThe new logo represents a canvas withpaint and the “A” from TAFE and “A”from Art are purposely in close relationto each other to represent the artshowcase tafe has.
This logo works well is colour and blackand white.

Site MapThe new site is structured similar to the existing one however because it is a content managed websiteit is easier to manouver and update.

You can mange images and pdf by easilyupdating posts. Within a few minutes newposts can be updated with new images,event information and pdfs attached.
The new website has a clean luxurious lookbut also displays large images in vibrantcolours. This webiste allows artwork to bedisplayed without having to compete with the webisite or logo identity itself. Thelogo and new design give the website anew fresh modern look
