Vision/Mission Statement and Goals

Vision Statement With continual territory expansion underway; Connect/One seeks to secure vendor

relationships throughout the United States by delivering comprehensive networking

installation expertise unparalleled to none. Our entire staff, including our SCTE certified

technicians, believes in a strong sense of customer commitment and attention to detail,

meeting and exceeding our vendor’s needs and expectations.

Connect/One believes it has discovered the ideal combination of values and technology

that will allow it to successfully achieve its goals of eventual national expansion in the

next ten years.

Goals and Objectives Connect/One’s goals are to provide National coverage as a strategic partner in the

telecommunications field for all Major Service Operators. This plan will be achieved

through its customer performance, professional manner, attention to detail and

expertise in the telecommunications field.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of ethics, integrity and

professionalism to our Business Partners, their customers we serve and support, our

employees and their families and to the environments we inhabit.

Resources, Facilities and Equipment Connect/One has made great strides in positioning itself technically to service the vast

market that is available. It can now provide all carriers with similar services in;

1. Identifying, trouble shooting and problem solving in the field for all

residential and business phone systems, networking setup of various systems

and WiFi Hot Spot systems.

2. Business and home structural wiring – voice, data, and video designs and

installation.

3. Fiber construction (aerial and underground) as well as residential and

commercial installs for the fiber optic industry.

4. Intercoms, alarms and security cameras

Our expectations is meeting and exceeding all of the criteria needed to service this

market and is prepared to expand its territory while keeping to its successful application

of services.

Connect/One has several advantages that maintain its superior position over its

Fleet Connect/One has a fleet of over 800 late model vehicles that are kept in excellent condition due to onsite service centers. Our certified mechanics ensure our vehicles remain in contract compliance while maintaining professional appearances for our MSO’s and their customers. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking for added safety and reliability.

Training Center:

Connect/One has established a Training Center that provides knowledge in a classroom

setting prior to entering the field. Once completing the class work, trainees study and

test for the SCTE certification. This allows for our technicians to produce quality work

obtaining various levels of competency in the field.

With over 1000 employees and with our elite training program, we are able to quickly

meet the demands of any MSO, if requiring additional staffing needs.

With the creation of our company internal site, Connect/One employees can continue to

train on their own. Connect/One provides our own training manual for every employee

who is able to reference and download at any time. Any new training updates or

changes in policy by our MSOs are posted for review and can be downloaded by our

technicians.

Safety Training:

In addition to our technician training, we conduct weekly safety training in each of our

locations to make our technicians aware of challenges and obstacles they may

encounter while in the field. In addition to the weekly safety meetings, technicians are

encouraged to download any and all topics.

Tech On Site:

Connect/One has created Tech On Site (TOS), a feature rich business management

software built specifically for the cable installation industry. Tech On Site offers its end

users the capacity to track all facets of your cable installation business. Included but not

limited to: job and asset tracking, quality control functions, employee/fleet

management and much more. Our IT Department primary focus is streamlining program

architecture, optimizing application performance and implantation of new products

offerings by our vendors.

View Jobs: Able to view each job assigned to all techs. Find a Job: Able to locate a specific job by account number. View Points: Able to view a technician’s route to monitor the amount of points he has for equal distribution. View ETA’s: Able to monitor ETA’s, time on current job and map location. This allows for a more accurate ETA for the customer. View QC Routes: Able to input and monitor all jobs that a QC has been performed on by or QC Officer. Also able to monitor and input fixes to a failed QC as well as attach pictures. Post-Calls: Dispatch is able to monitor all post calls and customer surveys, exceeding what our vendors require.

Here we can open a job to view its specifics. This will tell us all customer info, account number, what type of job, time frame, points, tasks to be performed, equipment put into account, cod amount, win-back status, time stamp of the first piece of equipment being provisioned and whether or not the job is passing the Home Health Certification.

Paperwork Check List: This section is reviewed every day for paperwork compliance. Able to track if the technician filled out the work order properly, collected COD and whether or not the technician handed in a customer survey card with his work order.

Underground This is a quick overview of our Underground (UG) program. The screenshot below shows the listed jobs along with their color codes, which explains where we are in the process with each individual work order.

Once the work order is received, we have 24 hours to pre-mark where we want to excavate. Our UG Coordinator will submit to the “call before you dig” (CBYD) web site, once the pre-mark has been completed. The following screenshots show what the blank template looks like and when it is filled out prior to hitting Update.

Purple - job was entered into the CBYD system and generates a ticket number.

The coordinator then enters the information into our system and starts the clock

to wait for the required 72 hours so that the various affected utility companies

or towns can mark out gas lines, power lines, septic, etc.

Green - the 72 hours elapsed and jobs are now ready to be worked on by our

technicians. The coordinator routes the crew according to ready jobs within a

demographic. Google Map is used to efficiently route jobs.

Red – highlights any issues that need attention.

Black/Grey - job is complete and gets handed off to Quality Control for

inspection.

The screen above shows the information the UG field crew complete while on a job. In our system, we have the ability to open the job fully to see all the information entered.

UG Dispatch has the ability to Add/Edit/Delete all jobs, if necessary.

Performance Standards

With this brief outline below, we at Connect/One believe that an alliance between our companies will benefit us both.

Staff: 685 in-house, W-2 employees.

Provide residential and commercial customers with a world class installation and trouble call service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Created Tech On Site, a Cable Management web based front-end application. This allows us to revolutionize dispatching, inventory and tracking management, job assignments, technician efficiency, Home Health Certification alerts, time and attendance functionality, personnel data, badge tracking, fleet management, webmail feature, real time ETA’s through GPS coordinates and so much more.

Created and utilize our Pre and Post Call Dialer which provides a direct dial to a professional Customer Service Representative for any customer issues.

25 years’ experience within the management staff.

Our fleet contains late model vehicles, all of which contain GPS tracking.

Conduct extensive state, federal, DMV and drug panel screening on all employees.

Employ a Quality Control Management Team which trains and QC’s a minimum of 10% of all jobs.

Created an onsite Training Facility, managed by our Training Director who carries a SCTE Proctor Certification along with 3 other supervisors in various locations. These students consist of new hires as well as recertifying and continued training for existing staff.

Member of NECTA and SCTE organizations.

Carry comprehensive insurance policies with a combined total coverage exceeding $10,000,000.00.

Provide emergency manpower for natural disaster relief.
