1. DIVIDEND DETAIL REPORT

1.1 PURPOSE

The main purpose of this Report is to facilitate RTA user to find out the status of previous / current uploaded

records depends upon searching criteria. Once user fetched / downloaded the repository upload file user shall be perform changes in same file and after changing user shall upload the same file by removing extra columns and header of the Report. Dividend Detail Report shall be available at RTA user end only.

1.2 ACTIONS

3. User is redirected to selection parameter page of “Dividend Detail Report”.

1. The “Dividend Detail Report” option is accessible from “Report” menu.

2. RTA user clicks the “ Dividend Detail Report ” option .

a. Investor UIN/NTN (All/Specific)

b. Security Symbol (All/Specific)

c. Event ID (All/Specific)

d. Dividend Status (All/Specific)

1.3 WORKFLOW

5. User selects the “All” or “Specific” option for “Investor UIN/NTN” field:

a. On selection of “Specific” option through corresponding Radio button the system enables the

associated text field and makes it mandatory for user input.

b. User enters the UIN/NTN in text field.

i. UIN shall be searched only for Principal/main investor i.e. records in which UIN

belongs to Joint Holder shall not be fetched.

ii. In “Investor UIN/NTN” field, user would enter one of the following:

1) CNIC/NICOP (13 digits without hyphen)

2) Passport/POC

3) Registration Number

4. The page comprises of following components:

iii. On focus lost, system validates the format of the entered value and in case of error

alphabetically ascending order.

5) User may execute search by entering “Security Symbol” in “Search” field.

2. DIVIDEND SUMMARY REPORT

2.1 PURPOSE

The main purpose of this report is to facilitate RTA user to find out the summary of 1) total

number of records 2) Net Amount of (Paid, Unpaid & Withheld) Dividend status against each uploaded event that is serviced/maintained by logged-in RTA.

4. The page comprises of following components:

a. Security Symbol (All/Specific)

b. Event ID (All/Specific)

c. As on Date

5. User selects the “All” (default) or “Specific” option for “Security Symbol” field:

a. On selection of “Specific” option through corresponding Radio button, system enables the 1)

associated text field, 2) associated “Browse” button, and 3) “As on Date” field.

Symbol is either invalid (i.e. Format is invalid) or is not serviced/maintained by loggedin

RTA then system displays the respective error message else populates the “Security

Name” next to Browse button

11. The “Total Records” column shall display the sum of value in following columns:

a. No. of Paid Records

b. No. of Withheld Records

c. No. of Unpaid Records

12. The “No. of Paid Records” shall display the count of records having Dividend Status = Paid for the

selected Security/Event ID.

13. In downloaded excel report the column No. of Unpaid Records shall be display the count of Unpaid

having Dividend Status Unpaid of particular Event ID that is pertaining to search criteria.

14. In downloaded excel report the column No. of Withheld Records shall be display the count of Withheld

records having Dividend Status Withheld of particular Event ID / Security that is pertaining to search

criteria.

15. In downloaded excel report the column Gross Dividend Amount shall be display the Total sum of Gross

Dividend Amount having Dividend Status (Paid, Unpaid & Withheld) records of particular Event ID /

Security that is pertaining to search criteria.

Dividend Amount having Dividend Status (Paid, Unpaid & Withheld) records of particular Event ID /

Amount having Dividend Status (Paid) records of particular Event ID / Security that is pertaining to search

criteria.

20. In downloaded excel report the column Net Unpaid Dividend shall be display the Total sum of Net

Dividend Amount having Dividend Status (Unpaid) records of particular Event ID / Security that is

pertaining to search criteria.

21. In downloaded excel report the column Net Withheld Dividend shall be display the Total sum of Net
