I am glad to inform you that the web-based utilities developed under MIS stage-I Programme are stabilized by now. As anticipated, the Monthly Performance Reports (MPRs, Part-I Revenue, Part-II Anti-Smuggling, Part-III Anti-Evasion, Part-IV Audit, Part-V Adjudication, etc., Part-VI Valuation, Part- VII Legal, Part-VIII Arrears and Part-IX Logistics) are being uploaded by the Commissionerates in time. It is also laudable that desired level of accuracy of the uploaded data has now been achieved.
2. With a view to make the MIS Programme more comprehensive, meaningful and user-friendly, feedback from the field formations and the concerned functional owners have consistently been gathered and, in view of the feedback so gathered, few additions/modifications in some of the MPRs have been made in the past have been informed to the field formations from time to time. In pursuance of the same objective, few new MPRs, as detailed below, have been introduced from the current cycle of uploading:-
(i) Part-I- Revenue:-
Earlier, Part-I consisted of five MPRs i.e. DDM-CUS 1 to 5, DDM-CE- 1 to 5 and DDM-ST-1 to 5 pertaining to the three streams of revenue. One additional MPR i.e. DDM-CUS-6/ DDM-CE-6/ DDM—ST-6 has now been
added for each stream of revenue to capture data of major Commodities/ Services to analyze trends of revenue for evolving effective strategy for achieving revenue targets. The screen—shots of the Uploading page and the Report page are enclosed herewith as Annexure - A, B and C respectively. The Commissionerates now have to upload data under these MPRs for previous months also starting from April, 2015.

Earlier, Part—V. Customs stream, consisted of 18 MPRs. In views of opinion of the Drawback section of Board. One additional MPR, i . e, DPM— CUS- ID has now been added to monitor progress in inward remittances of proceeds of exports made under claim of drawback. The screen-shots of the Uploading page and the Report page are enclosed herewith as Annexure- D. This MPR is to be filled up from the current month i.e. December, 2016.
