Western Wisconsin Regional Transportation Coordinating Committee (WWRTCC) is dedicated to implementation of coordinated multi-county responsive, affordable, accessible, transportation for everyone. WWRTCC is comprised of citizens, public and private transportation providers, public officials, disability organizations, regional planners, community agencies, managed care organizations, employers and others interested in increasing transportation options in Western Wisconsin.

Volunteer Driver Program Drivers in 18 Counties – July 2011 began 18 county collaboration with NCIL

•Over 100 drivers (most are regional)•Transportation contracts in the following counties; Eau Claire, Chippewa, Clark, Rusk, Barron, Polk, St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, Pepin, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Price, Iron, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas

Average over 1844 rides per month and over 22,133 rides per yearHave transported over 1113 persons with disabilities and frail elderly Have given over 60,000 rides since operations began in 2008

Must have available drivers and have a temporary need•Looking for work, starting employment, training for employment

Driver can be relative, neighbor, co-worker, friendCILWW staff meet directly with consumer to establish transportation goalsOver 65 consumers have been enrolled

New in 2012 and continuing in 2013/14 Veteran Transportation and Community Living Initiative (VTCLI) 18 county Veteran Transportation Summit to “kick Off” project was held Aug. 2012 Mapping of Veteran trips to medical VA facilities done by WCWRPC and survey of 18 CVSO’s done by CILWW Routematch software installation and training summer 2013Collaborate and marketing with Veteran Organizations to better serve veterans and others
