WELCOME to  the  Center  for  Discovery,  First  Presbyterian  Day  School’s  beyond-­‐the-­‐classroom  learning  experience.  FPD’s  campus  now  transforms  into  a  world  of  

BEFORE CAMP CARE - 3:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.

and  play.    Programs  are  built  around  proprietary  model  plans,  

designed  project  kits  and  theme-­‐based  models  provide  the  

  snowmobile,  snow  plow,  skiing,  and  sleighs.

  Forces  of  Nature  -­‐  Projects  related  to  tornadoes,                       avalanches,  cyclones,  tsunamis,  and  whirlpools.

  Factory  Fun  -­‐  Projects  related  to  conveyors,

hands-­‐on  class,  we  will  learn  by  playing  and  discussing  what  has  made  the  best  games  become  so  popular.  Students  will  learn  what  is  popular  in  the  world  of  computer  games  and  the  reason  why  some  games  are  such  a  success.  This  class  will  lay

core  technologies  of  the  internet  but  also  the  newest  features  and

A  beginning  ballet  class  introducing  the  discipline  of  the  art

I further certify that the class participant, either me or my child, is in good physical condition and can participate in all class activities. I understand that, although this is a recreational class, the possibility of an accident does exist. I further acknowledge that the school’s student accident insurance does not cover any injury incurred as a result of participation in a Center for Discovery class. I acknowledge that First Presbyterian Day School, its officers or agents shall not assume responsibility for injuries or costs associated with such injuries that I or my child may incur during class. In the event of an injury, illness or accident involving my child named above, I authorize FPD staff members to use their best judgement in the care of me or my child.
